@CalviNNation i see, i checked your other tutorials also and i saw you had Morpho 4, i was thinking about saving up for a new balisong and it got my attention but the BM42 would be a better decision eh?
Good tut. I do this one A LOT. I learned it after watching zenghost's reverse/rewind tutorial from balisonginfo. Not quite the same, but similar concept.
Best way to learn to freestyle is by doing it....just practice various opening and closings and stringing them together. Practicing specifica moves is fine but you have to know how to get to them from different grips and positions. Practice and then practice a different way.
I respect how you don't take credit for all of the combos that you do. Lots of people make up the same combos, and you aren't one of those fags who are like "i woke up this morning and came up with this move" when they really just stole it from somebody else. So kudos to you bud.
Can you do a video on that combo that you did in the first few seconds when you walked onto the screen, that was pretty cool. Thanks
@BigGunz1000 Thanks for the reply I agree with what you say. I appreciate the honest response. Ill think about making that into a combo although for my combo tutorials I like to keep them more short and sweet. When it goes for that long its more going on to freestyle opposed to a combo.
@CalviNNation Yeah i get what you're saying, but there really aren't that many "doable" advanced tricks out there on youtube. Either they're ridiculously hard, or they're "beginner" because people just want to make videos but they suck at flipping so they do beginner vids lol. I've gotten down all the semi-advanced ones, like behind the 8 ball, the Blender (my favorite), and helix and stuff. Idk, i'd really appreciate that move. Sleep on it, haha. Peace
@BigGunz1000 Okay I will think about it , I guess it would help people learn how to freestyle more. I think alot of people learn these individual moves and do them again, "individually" without applying it to freestyle or combos. Longer combos would help with that.
@CalviNNation fyi - 45 is basically a 42 with hidden pins... i think, but I'm not sure, that it had all stainless steel handles. Also had the T latch...old school knife. great combo btw!
@sungwei9 Well, My finger is doing better. There is still a significant loss of feeling in there and It hurts quite a bit to get the balisong really going. For tutorials its fine because flipping is so minimal but recreational flipping is still kind of a no-go for now but I may make an update video shortly.
Great tutorial as usual! Nice freestyle in the beginning to. I'd love to see a longer freestyle from you and maybe even some advanced tutorials? I'm glad you're back making tutorials again!
@DeadPuppyCC Thanks for the Detailed comment, Im glad you liked it. I am toying around with a few Ideas for a "bite-handle" style montage type video or even something like my "where do you baliyo" videos but with my balisongs.
I've tried this move but I find it easy ear to throw it up and to catch it instead of doing a wrist pass

Did you change the blade on your 42?
LukeoXx 1 year ago
@LukeoXx No I didn't. The 42 has a few very similar counterparts: the 41, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49 (not sure about the 45)
Mine is the Tanto Version, The 47. So I have the 42 and the 47, which are two different knives. I have a review on the 47 as well.
