@MartyLJ57,just to let you know that the GWR did try using Oil for a very short period on one or two loco's,but found it not to work so well as South Wales Steam Coal and abandoned the idea.I'm not sure though whether or not the two narrow gauge engines on the Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge line ran on Oil when they were owned by GWR.

It's using coal but has an interesting feature: push-pull capability.
