I have a 5310 I have had it for more than a year, it's an all around good phone, pic, music, videos. On the lowest camera setting you can take 1,219,611 photos, not that you would need to just neat. I have all the music, on my phone that I have on my laptop, 7.16 gb. If that answers you're question.

dude i have micro SD HC on my nokia 5310 xpress music and it works pretty well its 8 gb in my phone it says that i have 8 gb but when i put songs from my pc on my pc folder it says 4 gb idk why but it works :)

be aware.. it could see the whole memory but in many cases the phone will corrupt the data .

i bought sdhc with an accident, and now im stuck with this: i put a little bit too much on the memory stick, and then when i start the phone, it just flashes and die. OMG. wasted..

edit: now it has been even worse, cant have the phone on in more than 10 secs before it begin flashing... it do turn off if i dont touch a button while its flashing.. HATE IT. but awesome phone, but now i cant use it anymore :(

Yay! It Supports 8GB! Great Phone, I have one. Upgraded it to version 9.42 and all the hanging and rebooting were gone. still i haven't tried upgrading it to 8gb, maybe it'll take forever for the music library to get updated by then... =) nice vid!

I watched your video and then tried it with my Nokia 5310 -- the phone recognized it as a 4GB and not an 8GB. I see that you're in Europe as I'm in the USA, I wonder if that has something to do with it? Thanks anyways for the video, you did a good public service!

that's a good question but i actually don't know, i THINK it supports 3gp and mp4 and that's it (screen is to small anyways to watch movies n stuff), but again I'm not sure. I would like to check it for you, but in the mean while I've switched over to a second hand first generation iPhone :)

Hi! For updating the firmware go to the nokia site, select your country, then go to "get support and software" select the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic from the list. Once You're on the 5310 page, just go to "software" and download the Nokia PC Suite, install it and just follow the instructions (they're pretty straightforward, and I think it even checks automatically if you have the most recent software).

Ohw, and in theory it should be able to support 32gb of microSDHC, but keep in mind that the larger the memory card the more battery power it will drain form your phone ;)

you need to fill the phone to the max and than check it.

because it might let you feel it to close to

8g but not to its full potential

First of all i DIDN'T find a 4gb microSD card, only a 4gb microSDHC card. I eventually bought the 8gb microSDHC card, which is used in the video.

I already transfered some music on the card using only the usb wire that was in the nokia package, and using the "Nokia Multimedia Transfer". Besides that, my computer also just recognizes the memory card by itself when i just plug the usb adapter in my computer. I am however working on MacBook, so I'll still have to test it on a Windows computer.
