Trampled under foot? Are you kidding me? Thats just silly. I am a huge zep fan. Whitesnake at this time played more along the Deep Purple tunes. They didnt start the Zep thing until later to become more popular in the STates. Look at all the groups or old blues artists Zep borrowed liberally from. I respectfully disagree.

@beyondthethree If you claim that Zeppelin "literally borrowed" music, you are anything else but a Zep fan. Listen to "She give me" by Whitesnake and you will see the immense impact of Zeppelin on Whitesnake.

I understand the Coverdale comparison to Plant yet I think its also part of his pipes that he was blessed with. Listen to Mistreated at the california festival here on youtube and you'll see the pipes he has. To blast Snake for borrowing...you have to do the same to Zeppelin. I love em both.
