@ProductionsHead Good point - I never thought that maybe a Red Cross wouldn't be in Robot Town - maybe a picture of a screwdriver and wrench would've been better? Anyways, the Red Cross came with a Lego hospital set and it's always easier to use what you have on hand.

If you mean Robota's arms they are from a coupla' Space Lego sets from the 1980s.

I thought about making Robota's wheelchair motorised - but I thought it was sadder that she couldn't even afford a motorised wheelchair!

This is my favourite Lego based film and animation, brilliant execution and not a dull moment. What was your inspiration and drive to create this?

I was inspired by a couple of things. First of all, this is what I always wanted to do as a kid - animate my Lego! Secondly, I wanted to make a film out of a material that I could recycle from scene to scene, so Lego was a good choice. The last reason - FOR FUN!!!!

If you animate, then you are an animator! Anyway, story should always come first. You can get away with being a novice animator as long as you have a solid script.

This film is a prime example of what can be done with heart, dedication, and alot of time animating ;) The camera work was excellent, sets were enourmous and highly detailed, alot of imagination went into the characters also. This film is much bigger scale than any other brickfilms on this site IMO. The story is simple but is presented in such a way that it needs no dialouge, just sounds and cinematography. This is 100% worth your time.
