No, I'd kill if tghey didn't put Olimar in it, maybe, the first cutscene is Olimar gets home, and they call him and tell him to go to Earth again for some reason, and Olimar's son is tired of his dad not taking him, and sneaks into the ship and iit takes off with him (hiding), Olimar, Louie, and the Prez, and when they get there, the President tellls Olimar they ccan't go back to Hocotate until the job is done because they'd lose time and money, so he lets his son help, or something like that

Yeah, I actually think that instead of staying on Earth with differrent areas, there could diferent planets and 1 or two areas per planet, so you find "alien" Pikmin and you face very different terrain each time. But your idea is good too.
