all time classic movie. Robby Benson's character wins out in the end. The coach, G.D. Spradlin, just passed away today at age 90. A great character actor who also appeared as a coach in N. Dallas Forty, another classic.

Funny but the "bully" was an All American at the University of Colorado. Played in the NFL too. Very nice guy, Bobby Anderson. His brother, Dick Anderson, play many years for the Miami Dolphins, including the 1972 Dolphins.
