(Instrumental Break to the tune of Loch Lomand)
  • @HorsemadxEmma Thanks for the lyrics, but the instrumental break is Scotland The Brave, not Loch Lomond. ;p

  • @apache30 This is a good song and all but it doesn't take much to beat this years x-factor. To be honest listening to a horse would be more pleasent to listening to this years X-factor.

  • Wonderful. Makes me smile every time :)

Got introduced to it by Ken Bruce on BBC radio 2!

  • Bravo! BRAVO!! Get's the hairs rising on the back of my neck everytime!! (and you've just gotta love the "Scotland the Brave" riff in the middle!)...Thanks Comrade...and a BIG thanks to Ken Bruce for bringing this song to our ears, without whom we may never even have heard it!

  • Great song, but I always thought Santa was Welsh ??

  • I love this. I've chosen it as the theme tune to a superb weekend I've just spent in Edinburgh. Why is it other countries have uplifting and cheerful songs at Christmas, and yet England has crap like 'Mad World'. A few years ago granted, but what a miserable, depressing cover that was - yet number 1 at Xmas! Now the Christmas number 1 slot is decided by X Factor winners.

  • I totaly agree.

The Christmas no.1 is now just a joke. The only saving grace is that some of them are in ade of charitys.

  • Yeah, that's a positive thing I guess. I too was introduced to this courtesy of Ken Bruce BBC Radio 2. I was grinning ear to ear when it played. I thought the middle section on guitars sounded like The Darkness/Thin Lizzy!!! Cool.

  • some of us have known that santa is a scotsman since the day we where born well done ken bruce incidentally those racists who phoned in to the ken bruce show to complain about this song, should do well to remeber that if bonnie prince charlie had listned to his destiny and not to those around him we could well today be governed by a scotsman read your history, and i dont mean that idiot currently fronting the labour party any way merry xmas to u all

  • who sings that

  • aye!woopwoop yay!!!lol luvin it!

    merry christmas everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
