I used to go to Kabbalah Centre and got a lot from it, but it seems to have lost its way now, and really seems to be more about making money than much else. Are you gay? If not, are you homophobic? My personal feeling (and that's all that truly matters) is that homosexuality is not wrong, and I do not believe Kabbalah takes the time to preach how right or wrong it is. For me, Kabbalah is simply a way to improve my life and get closer to "god"

Definitely not gay and as for homophobic, that implies if you disagree with homosexuality, you're the one with the problem. (Weird way of looking at things). It stands that if Kabbalah Centre says thats OK, then they ain't teaching Kabbalah. Like I say, ask your Kabbalah Centre teacher why are they denying part of Torah? Do they think God got it WRONG!!? (Would love to see them try and explain away that one!) If you can pull the rug from any spiritual system that easily, it is seriously flawed.

You say Kabbalah does not deal with homosexuality. The core text is the Torah, as given to Moshe by God on Mount Sinai, so true Kabbalah does make a comment and it does not accept it. No argument, it states it clearly. If you throw out reason, then you have nothing. But I guess so long as those tills keep ringing...

I used to go to Kabbalah Centre and got a lot from it, but it seems to have lost its way now, and really seems to be more about making money than much else. The number of original dedicated pupils who have now left speaks volumes. Kabbalah condemns homosexuality and if Berg is condoning it here, he is WAY off the mark.

I have been studying Kabbalah for 15 years, Go and read your Torah before you blindly accept what the Kabbalah Centre tell you - The Torah and Talmud will tell you it is a grave sin. I wish people would at least do some study before considering themselves knowledgeable. Reading a few of the Kabbalah Centres books isn't exactly a deep grounding in the subject!!

P.S. The Torah openly describes homosexuality as "an abomination". As the Torah is the unchanging word of God, ask your Kabbalah Centre teacher why then they are trying to tell you something different and if they are then going against what it clearly states in Torah. There are no hidden codes here my friend!

Actually, studying at the Kabbalah Centre can transform a life of selfishness into a life of growth and transformation. Of course anyone who takes the time to write negatively about an organization that is helping to make the world a better place, not just missed the point, but is expressing his o her own negativity.

I would trust Yehuda Ashlag's writings more than this Yehuda Berg because Ashlag's writings are based on authentic texts which acknowledge their source rather than promoting the fame of the author. A true kabbalist has no need for fame and popularity.
