  • @CartoonPacolypse That was the stupidest thing I have heard in a long while. Both in it's vague indignation, and it's horrible grammar.

  • Stuff like this is what makes me hate being a part of this generation. Yes, I think I will go vote... And I'll be voting Republican.

  • God damn were all fucked. This generation might as well be renamed "The hippie generation". Yup, this country is going to go down the shitter with all this liberal/socialist thought processes going on. Please be smart "generation we" (which I'm apart of) and vote Ron Paul 2012 and say NOBAMA!

  • @Jofus360 haha who says we can't have liberal ideas and still not agree with Obama? I think the problem goes way beyond anything a president can do or has done... or hasn't done. I think we are just screwed in every way possible.

  • @Jofus360

your a retard if you think this is stupid. if we don't fix this our planet will die. USA will die. everything is already going down hill. our countries debt is horrible. Our school systems half-ass themselves. the entire congress has their head up their ass and can't get it through their dumb minds that this is our country too. they arn't suppose to vote for what they want, they are ment to vote for what the people want.if you think obamacare is dumb you are killing people. Obama 2012

  • beautiful, makes me proud to be part of this generation. I know we'll do better than our parents.

  • Yep America, we're fucked.

  • Happy to be a libertarian member of the millenial generation. Its the state that holds us back from fulfilling our human potential.

  • A problem with Communism/Socialism is that public schools don't educate the fundamental basis of what the U.S. is based upon. Work! Risk! Perseverance! Imagination!

We now have a country made-up of a majority of Progressive whiners who out-vote the workers of this country who pay the taxes.

  • Everybody wants to change the world until the government wants YOUR money to do it.

  • Scary group think....no thanks.

  • I watched this in spanish class. Weird.

  • The "we" generation doesn't realize that you can't have the government provide you with everything and be prosperous. It's preposterous to think that the labor and fruits of many will support those that have little to no desire to work, and to innovate. Government needs to be smaller. The social programs need to be reduced dramatically. The entitlement programs need to cease, they are NOT sustainable. Progressivism has dragged this country into the quagmire it is now. Wake up.

  • @vooduguru Progressive reforms are what made us prosperous in the first place. Building our vast highway system put millions to work. And now we've abandoned our infrastructure. And now look what's happening.

  • Want to know why....because Gen. We aka the "Millenials" are also the laziest, dumbest, and most government dependent generation yet.

  • capitalism has run it's greedy corrupt course...I'm ready for a change...time to give marxism a shot...cant be any worse than the crap we're under now...and it has the potential, if done right, to provide a much better society for the masses ....of the people, by the people, and for the people...not the corporations!!!

  • @phstrat

The residue of your desired Marxism is still throughout Russia, where life in a U.S. slum appears as a far better dream.

Life in your desired Marxist society IS immediately available to you. Please take the opportunity.

  • @phstrat - that's insane. Everywhere Marxism has been tried, it's been a miserable failure. Hey, this freedom thing hasn't worked out so well, so let's try slavery!

  • Who produces these slick propaganda videos?

They ("WE") promote what conservatives have been fighting for; and they "WE" attach their name to it. Dirty Progressivism is simply a renaming of socialism (Communism) which has repeatedly failed.

Obama is a Progressive. His entitlements are driving-up a huge debt that WE say is bad for future youth. Yet WE is a Progressive movement. If the WE Generation is buying into this manipulation, the U.S. will continue to decline.

  • @TheTubbytube Socialism is not communism, and no one is advocating either one

  • @orayole

Communism is Socialism, neither of which is a popular term in the Free World; so Socialists have replaced the term with Progressive. The end result of Progressivism is moving towards a population dependent upon the central government. GenWe is to pull the youth into the ideology of Progressives. The GenWe videos are very deceptive as promoting some reasonable sounding elements to hook the imagination of youth.

Give-up your rights for the fruits of big, controlling government.

  • @TheTubbytube No, they are NOT the same. In communism everyone is paid the same no matter what their job is. Socialism merely keeps business from exploiting the lower class and giving them basic needs like education and health care. If you don't like socialism then don't be using public schools or highways or other public transit, because they are all socialist programs.

  • If this is America's future, we have a lousy future to look forward to. Progressives will destroy this nation -- its what they do everywhere they go.

  • How are you independent thinkers if you all think the f**king same thing?

  • It's encouraging that a lot of the comments recognize that this kind of thinking is EXACTLY the reason we got here in the first place. But sad to see that this kind of thinking is still going strong.

  • This will be the first generation fully intergrated with technology. And the first generation to live centuries beyond the normal lifespan. The singularity is coming, and the baby boomers are the past.

  • Beautiful! Only one thing I don't get (as an European): at one time it's supposed to be "non arrogant", at the next it's the "key turning point in the history of mankind?". So America = mankind = non arrogant? Or…? :/

  • @tanelkarp You can turn it that way. Or you can turn it the other way around and see it for what it is. Americans you are fed up with there governments mistakes. I don't take it personally that they didn't "include" us, the rest of the world, they need unity and something that ties this generation together. America really needs to shape up. And I support them and I will gladly just embrace these winds of change. Sorry if it all sounds a little cheesy, I'll end it all with a lol!

  • "I support them and I will gladly just embrace these winds of change..."

Who is them? Do you know who you are supporting? Who are you embracing? Are you a sound-bite voter? Some undisclosed entity has paid big bucks to lead you by your emotions. Are you really believing this?

  • @TheTubbytube I know big money is going into this and someone will get a profit from it. But the idea of change and the idea of uniting people to make a change in the world is what I embrace and believe in. I don't necessarily believe in these "commercials", I just think the message is nice and I don't want to become a person with a tin foil hat. But I do agree with you that we should be careful of who we invest our emotions into.

  • @LarryAszune

You seem to be in love with a dream. I want love and peace in the world too; but the dark forces will always work within a system to destroy it. WE's Progressivism is working to change the U.S. Constitution's principles in which the U.S. has built its success and high world standards.

You're being indoctrinated to the dark side. Not one country in the world has raised its standard of living by Progressive socialism. Countries who try run out of money. Do you know any?

  • @TheTubbytube "Not one country in the world has raised its standard of living by Progressive socialism. Countries who try run out of money. Do you know any?"

    China

Not that I want to go that direction.

  • @tanelkarp I think it's more of a misuse of language than arrogance in thinking they can change the history of mankind (I'm Canadian! haha) Through the change they can implement(which is their own country's system/citizens beliefs and ideas) it will change the course of history. considering America's global power, by changing how the people in power act, it changes how America treats the rest of the world- think of wars, think of foreign aid, etc. In this sense it could change alot!

  • Really? these people think they got it hard... think about people in 3rd world country who are also born "generation we"... suck it up...

  • You forgot one thing in this video. Never before has there been a generation so manipulated. Told how to think. Told how to feel. Told how to vote............

  • Liberal agenda at it's best! When a quote from Harry Reid is on their website, you know where this all came from. Healthcare for everyone etc... Kids don't let them pull the wool over your eyes! They are trying real hard to make this a one party country, like Russia once was ( you know how well that worked for them)

  • @drummernut1 This is not my generation. I strongly believe that if you want something you need to work with for it. So what if we have the most debt, that just needs we need to work harder, make better decisions, and be more frugal. As far as I know, I am one of a handful of kids who follow the news in my school. To quote on of my friends "I know enough to get the jokes on late night comedy." Uninformed people are what got us the government we have today and $15 trillion dollars of debt.

  • @gjp426 I am glad that you can see through this. I am teaching my kids, how this kind of agenda is killing our country. The sad part about the jokes on late night, they are true! I laugh but yet I want to cry. I am scared for your generation, I hope that you are not left with the mess that the Government is trying to leave you with.Keep that good head on your shoulders my friend.

  • How can generation WE be better educated (1:02), but the education system is failing (1:27)?

  • The video says that, 1: They are fed up with politics. 2: They are politically engaged.

Can someone please explain this to me?

  • @jajanonanja It means they're tired of current political nature of fighting between parties for votes rather than doing what's best for the people and they're becoming engaged to change this

  • I still think their claim to be fed up with politics, but still being politically engaged is a great paradox. Politics will always be politics. There are no such thing as "good" politics. The influence of politics is what causes the problems mentioned in the video. And still they want to correct these problems with, thats right, politics.

Friedman and Hayek, please come back. We need you know more than ever.

  • @jajanonanja Good politics are from people that actually want to try to help people and are willing to compromise on ideas. What we need is term limits in congress

  • Your unified now, as soon as your of voting age politicians will divide you by race, gender, and class and turn you against one another to keep THEM in power.

  • it's Molly!!! :D

  • This is the brainchild of liberals who are trying to appeal to youngsters, so that they can begin their brainwashing as early as possible. Their goal is to create godlessness and anarchy and draw attention to themselves to feed their egos.

  • One in three will develop diabetes... and one cause of diabetes is... obesity. And the NUMBER ONE cause of diabetes is... prosperity.

They have no clue what the "environment" used to be like 50 or 100 years ago, and take it on faith that we're "destroying" it.

Whoever brainwashed these children should be tried for crimes against humanity.

  • What a frightening, naive, confused mess of gibberish. They have NO CLUE the repercussions of their arrogant vision. They have NO CLUE what really preceded them. They are a product of the very educational system the denigrate, and think they're smarter than those of us who came before. Their "solutions" are the causes of the problems the decry.

    God help us.

  • @Hiraghm Hopefully this will at least be a call to action. If my generation can start paying attention and realize what we need to achieve, maybe we can make a change.

  • @dolllface826 - what good is action if it's in the exact WRONG direction?

This video reminds me of "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" from "Cabaret" (search Youtube). We know how well that turned out.

  • @Hiraghm action to get involved and begin having a voice in our country?

  • Eww, this is gross propaganda

  • Yay, more "Occupy" sentiment. We see where that got us...... You need only go to the website for this "non-partisan" effort to see endorsement statements from the most partisan people in the country: Harry Reid, Ariana Huffington, and my favorite Van Jones, the admitted racist and Marxist that was fired from his job at the White House in shame. This is an ENORMOUSLY partisan effort that needs to be defeated.

  • Politically engaged? LOL! Yeah right...Greenberg, you're a dreamer.

  • If YOUR anything like the kids I know, your dumb lazy & fat. I used to shovel snow in the winter - today where are you kids going out to make a buck. I used to cut lawns for $10 bucks a cut -- Where are you kids.? This is propaganda bullshit. Generation WE needs to stop playing video games & get their heads out their ass. Facebook, myspace, go ahead take a look at Generation WE ---- WE are fucked that's for sure.

  • All this means is, we are soooooo fucked!

  • We must bring back Captain Planet, my fellow Millennials.

  • yay, fuck the conservatives.

  • @Theowest Not into that whole individual liberty are ya?

  • @e4gail - No, their entire moral outlook has been shaped by day-care and public schooling. Individualism = bad. Capitalism = evil. Man = unnatural. Environment > Man.

  • I want a different change then "gen-we.org." I want a government that will defend our Constitution, remove a significant amount of money from our budged and dept and bring our troops home! Ron Paul is the only man or woman that will do those things in the presidential race. I will vote for him because of his consistent viewpoints and his passion to restore America to the way it was designed to be.

This isn't just me. I know many people that support this man. Ron Paul 2012!

  • Don't fuck it up.

  • Non partisan? Good one.

  • That's an awful weird way to spell "me"

  • generation we needs to help or what will hapen to us i am a part of generation we so lets help. there calling us

  • Great, don't fall into the voting trap, voting don't work, new type of leaders needed.

A new system is required Born 1952

  • RON PAUL 2012!

  • Hmmm.

1:17 "Our national debt is $10 trillion; That's $30,000 debt for every man, woman, and child."

4:05 "Will you join us? Please visit our website, Gen-We . org and support project F.R.E.E.; It's our call to the government to create a multi-billion dollar program."

  • The thing is (and I am saying this as a non-USA, non-biased individual), the usa is "the capitalist pig of the world." Personally, I think that extreme capitalism is just as bad as extreme comunism. There is a balance and you really need to find it (no country's perfect, but you are especially bad). I know that you want to be as different as possible to 'soul crushing commies' but when you are sacrificing futures of the disadvantaged to get to it you need to think about whats right.

  • im 53 i love u guys i work and fight 4 u i think you will be the greatest generation the world has ever seen i will never stop even after i die to help u the planet and all humans believe in yourself follow your heart be kind 2 everyone u meet 4 they walk a hard road YOU ARE GREAT!

  • Great video, but it's 3 years old and I see nothing new on this channel. Is it dead already?

  • @TreesOnTheBeach No, the We gen have gone back to their computer games.

  • um...do "we" still believe in this antiquated imperialist system? do "we" consider ourselves 'americans' or simply 'humans'?

i think that "WE" should realize that EVERY VOTE IS A SHOW OF SUPPORT for all the problems this video just mentioned. "WE" need to grow up and Stop Believing in santa claus.

  • "I" don't like being shoved into a "we" based on a common birth date, especially when the "we" seems to be centered around the same high hokum that some in every past version of "we" thumps its chest and vomits as it takes over the reins from the old guard.

And by the way, aren't you completely skipping all of Generation X, those born between 1961 and 1981 (Strauss & Howe, 1991) in constructing your argument? Does Generation We ignore other facts that convolutes its narrative?

  • more like generation wii...

  • Comment removed

  • this movement will get swallowed by the controlled media conglomerates who will turn it, like everything else these days into a TV series, a ringtone, a designer Tshirt, an SMS contest ETC. I will be very suprised to see this WE deliver it's objectives. I hope it happens but i think the WE are more a part of the system they will be declaring war on than they realize. interesting to see how this unfolds.

  • Awwwwwwwww..how cute...look at all the little commies...

  • Is this relevant to other socieities? I live in NZ and I'm probably one too, but is this one of those things that America has, and we don't? This is the sort of thing I'm interested. It's a good thing too!

This was shown to me in school, and I have linked to it on my own Forum.

    Thank you Generation WE.

  • gave me chills!

  • Generation WE will spout any bullshit you pay us to spout for your cheesy-arse party political broadcast.

  • They are indeed less partisan.

Its great, politicians will be in trouble now that the left seemed to have won the culture wars.

  • Less partisan? Just how do you think that is going to turn out when your first inkling is to always ask the government to do the job?

Who are you kidding besides yourselves?

  • Funny how the unsustainable debt was $10 trillion when this was made in 2008, and now, thanks to your "progressive" leaders, we are $14.3 trillion in debt. How many of you have since graduated college, and can't find a job, other than community organizing? Put your iPods, iPads and iPhones down (all created by free market capitalism), and go plant a tree.

  • We, meaning they, are more communistically communist, unaware that their attitude is the same that destroyed Soviet Russia and other countries. If they are the "We" generation, they will destroy more nations, kill more people and impoverish the world. They will be the generation of people like some in our past...Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Chavez...the leaders on a path of destruction. They do not even know that they walk in their footsteps because their teachers have not taught truth.

  • @RobertVill100 Did you know it's the same attitude that saved the world from fascism? Generation We has a lot of similarities with the generations that fought in WWII, the Civil War, and the Revolutionary War. When they come to power, politics won't be like it is now where there's no compromise and nothing gets done. It will be more fluid like it was post WWII. I'm glad this generation is more collective. They have to be. It's going to be needed to us out of the coming crisis.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 You have obviously not studied history. Colectivism always leads to decline and death. It has happened every time: Soviet Russia, China, Nazi Germany, Italy, Cambodia, Vietnam...these were all societites infused with the collective spirit and once the leaders got the youth, the enemies had to be destroyed. Those enemies were almost always the best in society. Your teachers are lying to you. Remember, someone warned you.

  • @RobertVill100 Collectivism doesn't always lead to death. Clearly you were educated at a failed school. When the GI generation entered young adulthood they were optimistic and collective thinkers. Post war because of them the middle class grew because wealth was better distributed. The top 1% of the population no longer owned 50% of the wealth. What collectivism does lead to is a decline in individualism. Too much individualism leads to broken institutions. The same institution that taught you.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 Collectivism always leads to death, either the slow death of having your work and energy stolen from you as in re-distributionist socialist societies or the literal death of those who wind up in concentration or slave labor camps. To postulate a benign collectivism is to postulate a myth. Collectivism always requires victims,

  • @RobertVill100 Collectivism has saved the world from fascism. You're quiet the extremist, so anything and everything will lead to death. I can tell you, we are in the beginnings of a crisis which will last for about 20 years. We are in it because of the Boomers' and Xers' selfishness and individualism. The middle class is dead. Politics is corrupt. Extreme individualism is what gave you the recession of 2009. Banks/Corps only care about their wealth. They cannot and will not regulate themselves.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 Once again, you are wrong. Fascism requires collectivism. Collectivism led to this collapse. It is a failure of fascist policies. The housing collapse happened because government was trying to artificially collectivize home ownership by means of forcing banks to accept poor credit risks on mortgages. It was government that threatened banks if they did not comply. This distorted the free market. Collectivists always blame the free market when they are responsible.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 It is not extremism to recognize that collectivism requires sacrifice and death. History has proven that. You have not one single example of a successful collectivist state. The banks were required to sacrifice so that people who could not pay their mortgages could have homes that they later lost. This is a failure of collectivism. You are so eager to force people to sacrifice that you don't see the damage being done all around by your very own premises.

  • @RobertVill100 Individualism becomes narcissism. Fascism does require collectivism, but collectivism is also required to defeat Fascism. Study how much the US citizens worked together during WWII. One nation didn't defeat Nazi Germany by itself. The housing collapse is due to the greed of the banks trying to reap money from the poor. The government was in bed with these Banks/Corps so they didn't regulate anything. Narcissist with the free market became corrupt and couldn't regulate itself.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 The narcissist explanation of history is unverifiable. Self-interest and rational decision-making is what the Founders made possible. Narcissism is a psychological concept that explains nothing in terms of politics. People can succeed as individuals only by making the right decisions for themselves and the government can only distort that through collectivism. The banks were forced to give bad loans...they would have preferred to give good ones so they could make a profit.

  • @RobertVill100 Yes, the rational decision-making by the Founders needed the collective action of the colonist to defeat Great Britain. The Founders couldn't have done it themselves. Narcissism in history is verifiable, you just choose to ignore it. If collectivism can exist in politics so can narcissism. You can't have one without the other. Ying and yang, night and day, and Newton's second law, for every action there is a reaction. You need a balance of both and it's not black and white.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120 You are confusing concerted action with collective action because you want to glorify collectivism in order to justify using force against people. It was thousands of individuals fighting for freedom that defeated GB and the Nazis...not a bunch of collectivists. You can't verify narcissism and connect it with individualism. Basing history on Freud is a stretch. He was a Kantain dupe who believed that man was nothing but a dirty sex fiend. Good luck with that.

  • @RobertVill100 No sir, you are the one who is confused. You've contradicted yourself several times and it clearly shows how uneducated you are and how you believe the world is black and white. It's too bad that you don't see the world filled with its colors. When a group of people come together for a single purpose it is a collective action regardless of their beliefs. Go back to school, you embarrass humankind and its ability to raise civilizations throughout history.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120

True. You have a point about WWII, but your glowing praise of it means you fail to realize how dangerous such collective actions CAN be. We need community, but we also need self. It's about balance. If you don't have serious regard for self, then you are just a unit. An ant straight out of Plato's Republic. And if you only have self, you become a chauvinist straight out of Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

  • @tubub

You're absolutely right. I didn't think anyone would bother reading our ramble. We need to seek a balance between the two. There is always a good and bad side to both. I'm not an advocate for collectivism. During WWII both the US and Germany galvanized the youth's collective action. Both youths were the same type of "Hero" generation, defined by William Strauss and Neil Howe's study on generational theory in their book “The Fourth Turning.”

  • @tubub

Both generations were uniformly raised and both experienced economic crisis before the war. What made them different were their leaders. The roles of FDR and Hitler could have easily been switched. The good about the Millennials, who is also a “Hero” generation, we’ll see them rebuilt government and they’ll become institutionally powerful and for a long tenure too. Government will be fluid and efficient.

  • @tubub

It may sound scary that government will be powerful, but you have to remember it will be a different government. It won’t be this era’s government being powerful but a different kind. There will be other generations to keep the Millennials in check. That generation will be their children, who are a “Prophet” generation archetype. The different generations will keep each other in check.

  • @tubub

Hero generations always reform and build the outer self (more collectivism). Prophet generations always reform and build the inner self (more individualism). The current Prophet generation is the Baby Boomers. Whoever is in power, society will feel too much either collectivism/individualism. Don’t you feel right now that individualism is strong and that the government is slow, weak, and inefficient? The Baby Boomers are in power right now.

  • @tubub

Hero generations always build society and Prophet generations always build individualism. Hero generations always lead the country out of a crisis and Prophet generations always lead the country into a crisis. We are in an economic crisis right now. It may sound strange, but during a crisis collective action is needed to get out of it. During a high (eg. American High) individualism is needed, which is why the Boomers rebelled against the GI's collectivism.

  • @tubub

The book “The Fourth Turning” is a fascinating read or a listen if you buy the audio book and it explains a lot about the generational dynamics. I didn’t mention the other two archetypal generations. I’m very optimistic about the Millennials. They’re poised to do great things, but they’ll require a great leader.

  • @dynamicmaxwell120

after reading through your comments i see i agree with you for the most part, definitely more in the analysis of my generation than robert. you are right but you could've used your words better. And yeah, the kind of purely "enlightened selfishness" Robert is espousing does lead to narcissism, and self-absorbed numb nuts. Ever see American psycho? I'm very optimistic about my generation, though there are always exceptions to everything

  • @dynamicmaxwell120, there is just no evidence that capitalism and freedom lead to narcissism. The overwhelming evidence is that it leads to mutual trade to mutual benefit. That is capitalism. You have a negative view of man and of reality and it clouds your connection to the real world. The most peaceful societies in the world today are largely those with the most amount of economic freedom. Believing in Marxist lies doesn't make it so.

  • @RobertVill100 Capitalism is oppitunistic and cares not about what's healthy for human beings. Capitalism has progressively turned each generation over the last 30 years into entertainment junkies, making them progressively more stupid and ill equipted for adulthood. that's the legacy of Capitalism. we allowed greed to dictate the market place so much that we couldn't sustain growth without borrowing sums of money that we will not ever be able to pay back. CAPITALISM ! WHAT A SYSTEM !

  • @dynamicmaxwell120

Narcissism exists. Some individuals will be very narcissistic, all to some extent, it is part of our nature. The difference between Capitalism and other systems is that Capitalism recognizes this and channels these energies in a way that is beneficial to society as a whole. Collectivism not only desecrates individual's personal liberty, which already makes is impermissible for me, it simply doesn't work because it disregards this self-interested facet of human nature

  • @RobertVill100 What is the truth you speak of? Burn the world to the ground? every man for himself?

  • @norma1kt there is no evidence that capitalism burns the world to the ground. In fact, the evidence points to the collectivism of the "We Generation" burning the world to the ground. During World War 2, the Japaneses, the Germans and the Soviets were the most collectivist, they preached the ideology of "We" against the world and they caused devastation to the world, especially the Germans and Japanese who started the wars. Collectivism means the sacrifice of the individual and that destroys.

  • @RobertVill100 Do not fear wat you do not understand. Do some research on this genoration. The we genoration will save this planet that the genoration before us nearly destroyed in the name of profit. The We genoration does not do it for themselves they do it so the next genoration has a chance to experience life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I do not see how going green is a bad way to collect. War on the other hand...

  • I don't think they understand the word Global they use. Perhaps they'd do well to go live in another country for about 3 years? I'd recommend it, then come back and Diss America. The destruction they are talking about comes from a group of individuals with the power and money to want to take over the world. 'THEY' can let that happen in 2014 if they choose. Good luck kids

  • Nice job on the video, however many of the descriptions here are false or misleading at best. One example is the water. Our water systems are some of the cleanest in the history of the United States. These children of 'WE' might actually do better to demand a real education in the history of the country in which they live.

  • I'm a member of that generation & I'm hearing the same arrogant I know best certitude that characterized our parent's generation. Remember the baby boomer were 1960-70s idealist who thought they could change the world. I'm especially bothered by this big government plan to develop clean energy. I'm a libertarian and I believe that no good ever comes from trying statist means of dictating to us from above. I believe that real change is the biproduct of dynamic and free individuals, not government.

  • @sleedolfine15 Judging from the attitude in the video and from the "Occupy" crowd, your parents did know better and you'll learn that in the poverty you "enjoy"...as your wonderful President is now in the process of creating for you through his "shared sacrifice" and "We" philosophy.

  • @sleedolfine15 Judging from the attitude in the video and from the "Occupy" crowd, your parents did know better and you'll learn that in the poverty you "enjoy"...as your wonderful President is now in the process of creating for you through his "shared sacrifice" and "We" philosophy. Most of the baby boomers were not on the streets...just the radical communists were. The rest were working and taking care of you.

  • @RobertVill100 I wonder whether you actually read my comment because you seem to put me in the collectivist, pro Obama catagory(" My president? What the heck does that mean?)which I assure you is not the case. I'm for Ron Paul and if you'd read what I wrote you'd see that I defined myself as a libertarian.

  • @sleedolfine15 I was responding to your criticism of the baby boomers. Sorry if I included you in the "We" crowd. I actually don't remember reading those lines about your being a libertarian.

  • this commercial almost had me... then they started talking about some multi-billion dollar government agency equal to NASA... yeah, that's exactly what we need. ANOTHER FUCKING AGENCY!

‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.’

    — Margaret Mead

  • Need MAJOR reform -( for example ) #1 everyone funds their own political party

#2 Allow ANYONE to stand on the political platform

and ... #3 Lets hope this Generation 'WE" is wise enough not to allow Generation 'MANIPULATION' to count and tally their votes ...

  • cocaine is a hell of a drug

  • P.S. Arianna Huffington can go blow herself.

I AIN'T GUNNA CONFORM TO YOUR BRAND OF NONCONFORMITY!

  • fuck yall this is a prime example of wtf the problem is you think you can just go from baby boomers to these kids and there is no generation in between fuck that what about the the kids who came to voting age in the last election we get fucked and nobody remembers us ....nobody cares about us and we are only a few years older than these kids ....FUCKING FORGOT ABOUT AN ENTIRE GENERATION ! • I'm part of the millennial generation and I have one thing to say...

    RON PAUL!

    2012!

    END THE FED!!!

  • YOU are not better educated because the stupid ass Republicans voted against education again and again, and you are addicted to video games. I've been living my beliefs ever since the Vietnam war, and "they" rewrote the history so we didn't learn a damn thing. Your generation also still believes patriarchal religious crap. Good Luck. But you can't blame it on my generation.... we only had the presidency twice. You had better demand trade tariffs, end to outsourcing jobs. Economics has no heart

  • Welcome to the crap we the generation before you inherited and are unable to get our politicians to do anything about.

  • cobra kai!

  • I'm all for you guys, but remember that every empire that ever was has fallen, and usually hard. This one, though, has the power to take the rest of the world with it, and that would be a bad thing. You have your work cut out for you but you must try despite the odds. As long as I breathe I am with you -- Jeff, age 63.

  • Wishful thinking to be sure. Our current political system IS the problem. Our current socio-economic system IS the problem. Wake the fuck up my friends. The Federal Reserve of the United States is succeeding. Wealth transfer from the bottom to the top. The federal government of the United States is succeeding as well. Serving all global corporations and their interests. The United States is a plutocracy. It always has been, and always will be, if we let it be so.

  • lol, that fat army chick makes me laguht it's this same "pogessive" bullshit, that FORCES us to waste resoruces on that fat tub of shit, ......lol, she will be first in line for benefits, but will never spend a day even having to worry about being put into combat. US LAW, look it before you ant to start yapping about this absolute truth that most liberal morons don't even udnerstand. 14 trill in debt, ger real you fucking morons, this has been warned about for decades & libs sit on their hands.

  • Enough talk already. Millenials or whatever the hell need to just go march over to the white house and kick all these greedy SOBS in the nads. Enough of this toxic, genetically modified foods. That's why we got cancer. Enough of all these wars and shit that doesn't concern us. that one way to save tax dollars. All these rich fuckers including rappers and actors need to giv e back to their communities, tax dollars isn't enough! We know what need sto be changed, now let's change it!

  • am not trying to sound like communist or socialist but capitalism has failed the rich is getting richer, the poor is becoming poorer we must find another alternative system why are we still backing up ancient thing based on consumption

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • Attempting to band together people based on criteria they did not choose for themselves is specious and prone to failure. Though the filmmaking and writing for this short video were pretty well done, a movement to change our country is going to take leaders more prone to doing than to showing.

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Ya, the problems of the world and the US can be solved by a 4 minute 45 second youtube video. Sure.

  • ...and sadly enough, USA still uses up 1/3rd of the worlds resources...

  • I'm 307...

  • We're less educated, less healthy, and more politically partisan than any generation before us. The US is fucked.

  • Speaking from my Generation X viewpoint, I say ... meh. Good luck and bless your naive little hearts. They gave us the same spiel 20 years ago, but we had less population and less debt. There's just too much money corrupting too many people.

  • VOTE FOR RUSH!

  • Voting does nothing. If you want change you must take it by force because that is the only thing that the government knows. We cant just vote and then hope for change we must take it. That is the only real way to get the change we want. This doesnt just go for America. This goes for all nations where their system of government is wrong. We must all come together and say " WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS ANY LONGER'. I hope this will reach some one out there.

  • I'd love to see the statistics that evidence that we're supposed to live shorter than our parents. Also scientific studies that prove our "polluted" water is affecting our health. Anyone have a link?

  • Propaganda is perdy.

  • Yay.... we have the ability to vote between two evil men... two out of over 300,000 milion people... possibly better men and women... i feel so special.

  • Education is doomed unless the banking elite is taken out of the current system!

Every major research institution must file a STATE BANKING CHARTER!

See what U of Colorado system is considering to keep tuition in check!

    watch?v=dsQV0mnXTTo

  • could you define "WORDS WEALTHIEST NATION" after saying you are 10 trillion in debt???

  • @reddexred United States of America. Listen, I know you are some jealous foreign asshole who loves to bash America any chance he gets. Yes America is going through hard times right now. We are still decades ahead of other countries, including other developed countries. We are also better than every other country on earth. America, FUCK YEAH.

  • @laputadetumadre11 i guess you belong to the illiterate population of the US huh?? the fact that i "dare"to ask the question doesn't mean i have anything against America, claiming you are better than every other country just shows how small minded and infantile you are....you sound like a juvenile delinquent....please next time when answering a question please answer, and not just write nonsense because you have a keyboard...leave the answering to people who actually went to school....

  • @reddexred lol do you know what illiterate means you cock sucker? because if i was illiterate i wouldn't be able to read or write, and i'm obviously writing. I don't know why me claiming that we are the best country in the world is upseting you so much. If you are American, shame on you. And if you are not, I guess i can understand because every other country is like what, 60 years behind us?America kicks ass faggot, go back to dick sucking.

  • @laputadetumadre11 you still haven't answered the question!! and what does homosexuality have to do with anything?? i believe that one of the most patriotic acts you/one can do is question your government....please answer my original question or stop sending me hate responds that have nothing to do with the video nor my question......i wanted a relevant answer to my relevant question as to what was said in the video.. its my fault i should have known.....anyway take care and good luck!

  • We need Infrastructure and a better education system

  • Wonderful words. Great ideals. Unfortunately they will fail where all the other generations have..... Implementation.

You fail to realize that these smart, hardworking people you see portrayed in this video are not the norm. They are the exception. For every 1 of them there are 100 others only concerned about themselves.

  • @ryang256 Being self serving is not a barrier. Protecting the planet, innovation in the way we do things, these are subjects that concern us all, and most importantly, they are subjects that can be made into new markets and investment opportunities.

The idea that this is a Slacker generation is false.

Yes, we play a lot of World of warcraft.

BUT when we do, we dont mess around.

We work hard to lvl up, to get better gear and to kill bosses. Because we know that happines comes from achivement.

  • THE ONLY WAY you can change the political landscape of a country is to not vote for the 2 candidates the rulers of the world have picked out for you.

I suggest you research 'The Builderburgs' and find out who's REALLY in charge of world affairs.

The only way is to over turn government and stop corruption.

  • @LunarMonkey ...believing in false hope, lies and self perception is the reason why we are here.

  • @airondee "Those that are, have better resources, thus providing a better"...tell that to the scores of teachers getting ready to lose their jobs. this video is straight propaganda steering young people into false hope using the same rhetoric as a election campaign. sitting around and affiliating yourself with an unknown entity will only distract you from taking to the streets in protest of what actually is going on, and you fall for this everytime.
