  • just used this kit on my 2007 Freightliner Columbia. used a 2000 rpm drill and followed all instructions. turned out fairly well. looks far better and night visabilty improved greatly. my lens are plastic though and for that reason i'd like to go back over them again with a higher rpm drill because there was some remaining haze. i would a assume different results for different lens material, ie; the glass type which if im not mistaking are the type like the Ranger here. i might be wrong.

  • i find it helpful to dip my headlights in a vatte of liquid gold....it takes the effectiveness away but really gets the looks during the day.

  • Ok saftey issues here, the dude on this video should be wearing saftey goggles...

  • Thank you very much buddy, just used it on my 93 Crown Vic & it looks awesome! Hopefully it'll look awesome tonight! : )

  • Toothpaste works just fine to clean old headlights. Just did it on my '95 Ford Escort and they look 20 times clearer. And it probably cost about 20 cents.

  • Next time change your camera angle more to the left side of the car so we can see what you're doing on your headlight. Overall good video besides the camera angle.

  • i had the same headlights on my 93 ranger and they were yellow and really hasy when i got it. I bought this stuff and used a standard car buffer since i only bought the bottle not the kit. It looked GREAT at first but only lasted about 2 months.

my moms 98 windstar only lasts about a week!!! so idk

  • @mifan93 when you get the lights polished clean all residue from the polishing off. Then use a sealer on them and they will retain the clarity longer.

  • @Checkerholic what kind of sealer do you get what is the sealer called

  • @WhereyaooAT

    Meguir's synthetic sealer #21

apply it ever couple months to your lights. It can be used instead of wax on the rest of your vehicle too but I Still prefer Meguiar's #26 yellow tech wax on the car.

  • ill gladly take it if it not worth anything :D

  • I just bought new headlights instead. i also have a 93 ford ranger and i found a pair of projector headlights(crystal clear all the way to the bulb) with the corner markers for round 90 bucks. if your headlights are that old it is better to upgrade to a new set. same goes for your taillights.

  • Just did my headlights with the same kit. Came out great for the price and process involved. I'd give it a 9/10 being that to make them perfect, there's sanding involved.

  • lol did he fart at 2:30 oh wait it may be his foot

  • LOL the wipeoff deal

  • LOL magic juice

  • Thanks, I've heard that this only lasts for a little bit. Anything I can buy to keep the headlights restored? PS: It's Copyright not Copywrite ;)

  • @modernslangis just buff em with sealer glaze every week or 2 prolly make it last alot longer i normaly buff the headlights when im doing a car anyways just to make it look better

  • Isnt that headlight glass???

  • @theEXPERTDetailer

Nope, plastic. Many of the headlights from that era were.

  • I hate yellow headlights .

  • I used it and the headlights became foggy again, I am looking for a sealer or something that holds the polish. As for now, the stuff is only a temporary fix

  • tooth paste works better

  • Thanks for the tips. Are you from around Detroit?

  • Hey, mister, I like rangers.

  • great video. did you have to or did it stay to use a sealant after the process?

  • You don't like the sound of a bulldozer in the background? They were finishing knocking down a house that had been in foreclosure for three months.

  • nice homeboy

  • To post a follow up, I drove at night with my truck for the first time since I did this video over the weekend. The difference was HUGE!

  • @rumblestripradio This was what i'm most concerned about. Also, do you think there are better solutions out there? Someone was telling me that doing it by hand with finer and finer sets of wet sandpaper (up to 2000 grit) would be better. What do you think?

  • @altitudeca A year later they need to be touched up, but they are no where near as bad as they were. The only other thing you can do is to buy replacement lenses.

  • I bought this then decided to research to see if it works...cannot wait to use it on my Mustang...I won't get it back for 4 days

  • Great work!
