The pellets react!. cyanide poisoning does not take 20hours. Concs in a sealed room such as the nazi gas chambers would cause death in minutes. 150mg/m3 is fatal in 15min or so. This is not a high conc. HCN is very volatile, when the door to the chamber is opened the gas could be cleared in half an hour or so.
