You shot in between the eyes/ears? I really want to stun my pigs right. I've looked at the diagrams, but would like to hear from experience.

I have pigs growing. I have a 22lr and a 12 gauge shotgun. I was going to use a hollow point 12 gauge slug to the head and then cut it's neck to let it bleed completely out. I thought this would be the best and most humane way to kill em, but now I'm thinking that a stun with the 22 and cut might be better. What do you think? I do suppose the 12 gauge slug would ruin a lot of nice head meat.

@rumble1892 You will be a lot better off using the .22. The 12 gauge is way to much. Plus you want the heart to keep pumping and min damage to that brain will keep it going longer. You probubly want to look at the part where I stick the stunned pig. Thats the best way. Cutting the throat lets stomach contents out when you hang em up.
