@OneCompHelp This was a PC I bought at a yard sale for $25 if I remember right LOL. Hell was worth a shot to activate. I ended up running 2000 on it, HA I don't even have that PC anymore. Got a New Dell desktop and a Macbook now :)
you can actuley get free keys buy giveing a bad key. WHat you do is call them with a bad key change the numbers a little and thay will tell you its bad and so on. And you will talk to someone some time and thay will ask for that key give them the same number you will be asked a few times but after a hald in houre thay will give you a working key just make sure to give them the same number each time and that no one hase giveing them that number b fore. works 90% of the time.
That is a compaq. I knew I was using a bootleg of Win XP just wanted to see what happens when you try to activate it. Now I know. It sucks but we can't really blame Microsoft, I broke down and bought a legal copy to get updates and whatnot. Was worth it to have XP just work. The PC in the video is a secondary pc and is running Windows 2000, bootleg of corse LOL.
I have two all in one Macs like that! A Power Macintosh 5260 and a Power Mascintosh 5400. I browse the internet on my 5400. I have LOTS of vintage Macs.
It's what happens when you try to activate a known pirated copy of XP. This sometimes does happen on legitimate copies of XP (about 1% of the copies I do believe)

Just you try calling them by telephone? And if this is an OEM pc then you could use a recovery disc to reinstall without activation.
