islam should be respected simply because muslims will kill you if dont give proper homage to "the religion of peace ".lol ,its a good thing this religion requires its followers to know only one book ,as thuggishly violent as muslims are ...if they actually learned anything they could be quite dangerous ...as it is ,a few billion muslims are not really a threat to anyone but themselves, because if they ever DO bust offa nuke somewhere, all this pc bullshit will end like all muslims, gone, poof.
I'm disappointed Martin - I thought you were going to sing! - ie I'd rather be a hammer than a nail...etc
'Bright' sounds a little bit supremacist however I suppose secularist would spoil your word play. Baby Jesus butt plug Ha Ha Ha!!! - Islamists don't need butt plugs made for them as they have giant ones already especially made for Allah, called Mosques.
Q. What is the difference between Muhammad's teachings and a bucket of vomit
Trust me you would not want to hear me sing. I've not sung in public since I left the church choir, before my voice broke.
If you don't like the term Bright use rationalist, it means very much the same thing in a religious/non-religious context but unfortunately it has a different meaning in philosophy which is why I prefer Bright.
i dont define god as any of this, god to me is not supernatural, it is all that is natural. I would never let a group of people define that word for me, be it dhimmis or brights. The concept of god is not exclusive to any organized group of people, god is the foundation one places his beliefs on, and if you believe nothing at all, you have chosen that as god, for that is the foundation you place your belief on(nothing).
@careypeak23 Why were you expecting me to engage with YOUR ideas? They are not my ideas, they are not popular ideas, they are not threatening ideas, they are not the ideas expressed or attacked in any of my dozens of videos or hundreds of articles and I don't want to sleep with you. I have better things to do with my time than debate ideas which neither appeal to me nor threaten me. So, yeah, whatever. Debate those ideas with somebody who cares.
@MartinJWillett I guess I always have been the minority in my views. The underground underground. Maybe I should go mainstream and make some videos and books. Make some money off my ideas. I do have a nice ass. I like your voice, its pretty sexy.
Excellent vid... I belong to an organization called the "Brights", it's Mensa's retarded cousin, although I met all of Mensa's qualifiers, I did not want to be bothered after awhile, ti's so pompous on some levels, so I joined the Brights, although i have to say, i like your club better, can i join? Is there a hazing period?
Good points here, the way of thinking is really the vital thing. One might say that atheism is a subset of bright, but not vice versa, as you can be an atheist and still deeply irrational. Take for instance Jesse Ventura, the Governor of Minnesota: Atheist and conspiracy nutter. Not that bright.
Yes, there must be a fault in your time machine, the email confirming your comment was apparently sent several hours before I ever spoke those words out loud for the first time.

@Elenkhos It's not my movement, I didn't start it, although I did join in right at the start of it back in 2003. Search for The Brights.

Atheism is necessary, but it isn't sufficient.

I totally agree (and wonder how my comments can be 19 hours old already??)
