rommel beck is from Etiwanda, California, he is African American.  He played at UNLV for two years. Just because he is light skinned with soft hair doesn't mean he is Mexican. Kobe Bryants dad played for Italy does that make him Italian? No. Players who don't make it in the NBA play overseas.
