It is, isn't it? I only have the LP (vinyl), and that's the only way I can listen to it. I have a digitizer, but the LP has pops and I'd like a pristine quality CD. "Goodbye Girl" is a great album, filled with wonderful songs, start to finish.

Recuerdo cuando era niño y al comenzar una lluvia en mi Santiago de Chile amado las radios comenzaban a tocar este tema. Las radios tocaban los viejos discos . No había tecnología digital y las programaciones tenían segmentos que daban para la espontaneidad y la improvisación. ¡Bella canción! Recuerdo que mi padre la grabó en un cassete y se escuchaba el roce de la aguja... Llevaré siempre este gozo en mi corazón, incluso cuando éste deje de latir y mis sueños se hagan todos realidad.

This song is really a heavenly creation from the mind of a very sensitive artist. It has passion, softness, many feelings at once. I remember it was my lullaby song when I was 4 or something. David Gates' suite is wonderful. Here on youtube there's an also excellent video of Peggy Lee interpreting "Clouds." It's titled "Peggy Lee : Clouds / The Christmas Song." She loved David's writing, and said so in public various times.
