  • what the fuck is the significance of this ? having no life ?

  • @TheDuseanmandic no life? if you havent double your IQ your not paying attention

  • @datzfast Grammar anyone? I'm just saying.

  • @TheDuseanmandic - plotting the motion of a rolling object. Not everything in life is exciting. I did this in 8th grade as part of a lab.

  • @TheDuseanmandic The significance of your comment pin-points a intellectual deficiency in your brian. My little brother at age 13 is able to comprehend the mathematics of this mind-bending concept. I suggest you go back to school, kid.

  • @The3nlightened0ne Evidently, you and I differ greatly in our conception of Intellect. Im sorry if my mind is set to seek out the possibility of using actual "mind-bending" instruments and ideas for the betterment of humanity. I assure you this animation will never bring, or contribute to any technological advancement. So you and your lil 13 year old brother can continue to jerk off to this insignificant piece of shit. I know it's irrelevant, but how many dicks did you suck in college ?

  • @TheDuseanmandic I will not tolerate your language in my video comments.

  • @TheDuseanmandic

"I assure you this animation will never bring, or contribute to any technological advancement."

Where's your support for such an illogical claim?

Every man is entitled to his opinion, but not his facts.

  • @TheDuseanmandic This animation in particular may or may not inspire anyone to a technological innovation. But, the curve which is here illustrated, the cycloid, belongs to a family of related curves which were put to work in real technology before you were even a twinkle in your dad's eye.

  • its cool knowing that every point of a car wheel travelling at any speed stops for a breif moment its cool

  • @smallpaul123 Huh? how does that work out?

  • @frankensteinmoneymac its hard to explain,if you look at the line it makes as it revolves when the line gets to the bottom it memonteraly stops then comes back up

  • @smallpaul123 Is there a name for this Idea/Theory? Ive never heard that before... Hmmm ok if I think about it in 3 dimensions....the wheel is moving foreward....so perhaps U R refering to the moment when a point goes from moving with the wheels forward motion...to where it starts to move in the opposite direction of the wheels travel, then....hmmm I can kind of see that. Is truly stopping though? Or just appearing to? Interesting thought exp. Id like 2 read an article 'bout this...Know of any?

  • @smallpaul 123 actually by that logic one can say it stops at every moment because if a different point stops all points must stop. how does that tickle conscious

  • it's something like the graph of the absolute value of sine.

  • I've always seen the cycloid as displayed "upside down" from this. Does it matter?

  • Very nice!
