Virgin Australia Launch day with Sir Richard Branson

I saw a Virgin Australia a330 in Melbourne and people were boarding and it seemed pretty full. I don't know where it was going to because we were on Pacific Blue to Denpasar. Is there really an a330 flight from Melbourne or was it just new aircraft being delivered but had to put people on so they didn't have to cancel a flight?. I don't know. Can someone tell me?

I just had an extremely pathetic experience with Virgin Australia. Rude ground staff, and extortation by the airline. I will never fly this airline again. I wish somone would put up a series of videos along the lines of "United Breaks Guitars" about Virgin. that will make my day.

I love how in the first few seconds of the video they filmed from the west side of 16R. So all video and photos were backlit.. I was out at the mound as they came in with the sun behind me.. made the new livery shine!

I personally think that Branson is trying to pull off the minimalist look of Apple branding for Virgin Australia. I've read interviews where he's specifically said that Steve Jobs has built one of the best brands of all time. It's far more easier said than done.

Sure give the airline a better name but don't give it a standard white livery with red on the tail.... i think that's been done before.

Notice on the taxiway at 0:07 the old paint scheme and also in the air at 1:15 the blue livery 737.. They stand out
