  • Someone 2 weeks ago refered to this as a song. Is the education in USA so bad now? Agh!

  • La "versión de Mozart", es para mi gusto aún más ligera, o sea, más rapida, pero esta versión no está tan mal

  • fastest version...

  • Katy perry is way better

  • @Maxweckl Less good looking, though.

  • i want a time machine...

  • Somone now add the link descreption for download on playlist in your computer

  • 3 people are going to become nasty hobos.... just sayin

  • this is one of the best songs of amadeus !!

  • I don't think I've ever heard a version of this with a harpsichord before. Can't say I like that addition, it makes it sound like an older symphony.

  • This song sounds really..Royal. Like it :)

  • I dont understand how people can dislike this, there are at least 3 dislikes per mozart vid lol

  • This version of piece seems to have a bit faster pace than the other versions on youtube. I love it! :)

  • @RPsheep hahahahahaha I was JOKING, calm down. And I'm not a "dumb blonde"

  • it doesnt surprise that mozart composed all this he did have a real high i.q of 160 plus

  • @shady8mile

I.Q? How could that be, given that the first real, standardized I.Q test was proposed by Binet; and that was approximately 3/4 after Herr, Mozart's death.

  • As I understand, period instruments of the day were less resonant. So tempi were likley a bit quicker in general. I like the clip of this. It's more anxious than brooding.

  • Man, I wanna see this guy perform live...can someone please tell me where I can go to watch his live performance of this?

  • @blondechick888 tell me you're joking... "this guy"? Really?

  • @blondechick888 you mean mozart? he died long ago :(

  • @blondechick888 Please say that your not being serious please

  • @blondechick888 haha funny how ppl can be so cereal :p

  • @blondechick888 i thought youtube had enacted measures to keep dumb blonde women from viewing intelligent content

  • At first i thought it was being played to fast but now i think it's about perfect

  • A beautiful piece,.But here " I " think its played to fast.

  • Such a lovely song

  • Agreed - the version of rolldito (trever pinnock) has perfect speed, but allthough the idea of using fluteplayers is nice - sometimes they are a little too loud - and the orchestra is not as good as within the Version of Peter Maag - result: The Orchestra of Peter Maags Versions with the Speed of Trever Pinnocks Version and it would be absolutely perfect! this version allthough very good played is a little to fast for my ears - no time to realize, understand and feel into it

  • I wish I could give a comment to his songs that would actually suit their greatness and perfection... but only he would be able to invent words that could descripe his works. There is no god to me but the one of music, Mozart.

  • @ZigfriedVonSchroider pagan to the bone

  • @ZigfriedVonSchroider

    Song AAAAAAAAGH!!!!

  • simply epic

  • me luvs mozart

  • JUSTIN BIBER VOTE NEGATIVE!!!!

  • Brilliant!!!!!!! Grand merci!

  • I love MozArt!!!!!

  • välillä on hyvä kuunnella klassista

  • Best version???

How many versions have you heard before?????

  • @LouisLeeKH a lot, maybe ten.

  • @marnikchoto Only ten

  • @LouisLeeKH Search for "Karajan Mozart Symphony 40 i" and you will honor THIS version for world's best. I promise.

  • @LordDarts Yes, i don't like the version of Karajan. It's curious the fact that his conduction of Beethoven's simphonies is, by contrast, absolutely amazing.

  • @marnikchoto Couldn't agree more. Karajan was an absolute master when conducting Beethoven, but his version of the 40th just sounds wrong to me. IMO, this movement needs to be dynamic and energetic which the Karajan version is so not. I agree wholeheartedly, this is the right tempo.

If memory serves me right, Sir Neville Mariner and the Academy of St. Martins in the Field did a pretty good version at roughly the same tempo.

  • @LouisLeeKH Doesn't like every school orchestra in the states do this song?

  • Molto allegro ein bisschen zu geschwind, aber perfekt.

  • ein bisschen zu geschwind, aber perfekt.

  • . e version

  • who can honestly say what exactly is too fast or too slow? playing the piece quicker adds drive and energy, aspects many musicians forget about. yeah slow pieces are nice, and you can add expression to that style easily. what i personally find impressive is adding that expression to a quick style like the one given. in my opinion both styles just add a different presence to the piece, there is no such thing as too fast or too slow, unless taken to extremes of course.

  • Too fast!

  • espirituarialblacksouldown

  • i cant hear anything

  • The Antecedent of the second principal subject of the exposition sounds rushed, especially in the woodwind section.

  • Already I have raised second and third movements. You can look at it in my channel. Enjoy and thanks for the comments!

  • This rendition is real best for me. Who is conductor?

  • @bobon47

    I think its Von Karajan

  • @VodKaLogic Certainly not. Karajan's choice of tempo would have been slower, his orchestra larger and he wouldn't have used a continuo.

  • Tempo is a little too fast in my opinion. Sounds rushed and mechanical.

  • yes indeed this is the best version.thank you.can you tell me how can i get this in original?

  • False. The best version is The Complete Mozart Symphonies by Trevor pinnock. View video in my channel.

  • @rolldito good version of first movement. But second and third movements (i am going to raise them soon) are low than this version in my opinion.Nevertheless, both are much better than the version with most views in youtube. Excuse my poor english :(

  • @rolldito I agree - I have been listening to others but prefer the Pinnock version I heard on your channel :)

  • Prague Chamber Orchestra & Sir Charles Mackerras

  • @craigmosdell Yes

  • Finally, Molto Allegro!

  • @SteveAndrewLangford Herr Karajan is it?

  • @SteveAndrewLangford

I think it's too fast for Karajan

  • @Ethratian If this is Von Karajan, it's definitely not the recording I used to own on CD.

  • "We cannot despair about mankind knowing that Mozart was a man." Einstein

  • Wonderful music

  • sounds better nice tempo:))

  • perfect tempo

  • better
