Actually Homo, it likely is a result of global warming. The planet's temperature is higher, thus there's more moisture in the air. It's just falling as snow because it is the winter season. You have to see the big picture, not just what's in front of Sean Hannity's semi-informed nose. One & a half degrees might not sound like much of a temperature increase, but when you consider the heat absorbing capacity of this huge planet, it makes quite a difference in the amount of rain & snow that fall.

People need to get over themselves. It's a lot of snow in a city that rarely gets this sort of thing. Were they supposed to suddenly clone more snow plows? At how much cost to the taxpayers for one snowy winter? This is why I hate DC - it's full of narcissists who are so much less important than they assume themselves to be. But DC seldom gets much snow & many who live there are from other parts of the US. The DC govt. is struggling to move snow because they rarely have to do it. Here in the UK.. because of, initially, American criminal bankers we are also suffering massive unemployment. Debt is increasing. My elderly parents can not believegovernment would let this situation arise. Interest of £600 is now £58 ...unemployment benefits cannot bail them out... .. bad winter here also..fuel bills are huge.
