It's a V1 Radar detector and picks up the radar signal sent out by speed guns. If the cop has it on in his car the unit will sniff them out about a mile away. Im now running a laser jammer to block Lidar speed guns and some other anti cop measures

Radar detectors are illegal in Wa and Va, Everywhere else its just frowned apon. Jammers are illegal mostly everywhere, my Blinder doubles as a park assist if I were to ever get stopped. Anything obstructing your license plate is illegal.

the V1 has 3 modes for different sensitivity, I keep mine on the most sensitive so it does pick up automatic doors and other IR objects but i've never gotten a ticket while running it

hey paladain55, i saw no change in fuel economy but the 160 stat brought ny engine temps down to 190 coolant and like 210 oil. id recomend the 160 and reuse the stock unit during the winter months

its a switch panel used to look at engine readings (temp and pressure readouts), fuel economy info and trip info, i changed all the interior buton back lighting from the origional green to blue, im not in the process of converting everything to red

theyre built with two different purposes, the vette is made for speed, thats it, from the lightweight plastic pieces in the interior to the fiberglass body panels. I find it comfortable but some people look for luxury as well as speed which is where the bmws come into play.

its a gtech, basically it plugs into any 12v source and monitor rpms, acts as a shift light, times your 0-60, quarter miles et and trap, gives you live g forces and will calculate net hp (net hp is about 10% lower than wheel as it accounts for tire to road friction and wind resistance, its the hp that physically accelerates you). so stock my engine made 400hp, 350rwhp and 330net. no one really uses net hp but i use it as a way to see % changes with mods. my vid launch tutorial shows it in action

streetturbo, that is a G-TECH performance meter. it plugs into your cig lighter and tells you 0-60, 1/4ET ETC. ETC. they come in handy. i have on in my truck. not terribly accurate, but it gives you a general idea.

its a problem if you dont use turndown, i put turndowns (short pipes bent 45* down) to divert the exhaust to the ground as oppose to letting it flow onto the leaf spring (which melts with high heat) so aslong as you use the turn downs your safe, ive driven for 100 miles straight and no probs, good luck

basically a cutout is a valve that you can put into your exhaust, they can be mechanical or electric. with the mechanical versions some have a cable that you pull to open them and others have a plate that must be unbolted. mine are electric, i press a switch and they open up.

ive always liked loud cars so now with this one i was on the hunt for a good sounding system. i choose cutouts because it can be extremely loud when open, or sound stealthy stock when closed

it would be like having two systems in one, i bought the cutouts and made paper mockups to which i found a place i could fit them (very little clearance under the car) then i cut some 3in exhaust pipe to the shape of the mocked up paper, and brought it to a shop to be welded.

yes an no, like the extra 36 HP and the power potential of the ls3 rocks but i got my car mid 06 and got to do a lot of work on it and do a lot of driving. now if i could trade straight up i would but then again what will happen in 2010, 2011 i happy where i am, im going to add some boost to the mod list this time next year so that should keep me scared for a long time
