You can't really see it here, but if you watch the DVD, she's wearing a pendant that catches the light. It gives the only indication of her inner torment as she struggled to hold it together...

This is a 100% true story. My wife and I loved this movie, so much so that when I proposed to her, I had written the whole part out and started reading this off, with a couple of personalized parts. I'm a goof so she still wasn't sure I was being serious until I pointed to a spot on the beach where I'd written "Marry Me" without her knowing. We invited Steve to the wedding, but the prick didn't even RSVP. Haa haa. Good times. We'll always remember this scene!
