For those who are on Tean John Smith (For the movie not history) I ask this. What qualities did have that were right for Pocahontas? And didn't John Rolfe have that wasn't worthy of her love? I saw John R as the man who is compassionate, respectful, faithful, affectionate, nuturing, patient, a great listener and a devoted father. By the end of the film, Pocahontas realizes just what a wonderful man he is. And she returns all of those feelings to him 100% just as devoted him as he was to her.
