  • The T-shirt story is compelling in showing the interrelationship and transportation of ideas and artifacts. But there is a missing link. Where was the T-shirt made? In this country? I doubt it. What is the effect of backward influence on those creating the T-shirt? They too are recipients of the cultural values of those who conceptualized the T-shirt.
