  • You Are Not Playing Reggae Style You Have To Do The Chords With Pression And No Pression Later , But The Chords Are Good

  • @roo1410ful And You Are Not Typing With Proper Capitalization. It's all personal opinion. Great cover!

  • nice cover flawless

  • rebuennaa

  • 15 people r Bob Marley haters...booooo....BobMarley4Life =)

  • i learned to play this song just watchin the vid =)

  • aren't those the organ's chords?haha...

  • Your playing is missing reggae soul and style!! You're just laying it d/u/d/u/d/u.... you have no up stroke kills and your rhythm doesn't vary at all and that's not the point of playing reggae! Good luck in better playing :D ^^

  • why didnt u sing

  • buenisimo!!!

  • Bm7 E G F#m

  • what is notes that you use?

  • very good brother you are good

  • sounds great :-) :-)

  • good stuff mate

  • very nice thanks for posting

  • awesome man, try playing straight 8ths on the barred g to simulate the song more, and change up the strumming a bit more

  • tabs pzz

  • nice tunes and nice shirt!

  • u played it well but u shud try singing

  • I can't understand some ppl ask questions about the chords, there r the vid front of yourself, for a novice its more difficult to find the right timing or rthymin

  • yea, i know. . .some people :)

  • hope you like jammin too

  • wich chord's to play this song

  • perfect!

  • very nice version :)

  • Yes you are

  • that's an okay version, but the chords are wrong. It's Bm7-E9-G7-F#m7. For the chorus it's just Bm7-Em7. Start at the seventh fret and work your way down. Or not. Just a suggestion, but that's basically what Marley did.

  • nice .. really...

    saluti from italy...

  • nice but thats not the strumin patern

  • Thanks guy for all your comments!

The chords that I was playing are Bm-E7-G-F#m

  • hey man.. very nice cover.. do you maybe have tabs for that? if you have.. im begging you to send me... link to download or something.. thx in advance..

  • I can help you with that mate. ..

    The first chord: Bm

    The second: E

The third: G (barred at the 3. fret)

    The fourth: F#m

And then the whole cycle again. Google up the chords if you don't know how to play them.

    Good luck!

  • thanks sounds rite when i play them

  • cool...nice work :)

  • wow nah brotha, it aint jammin if u aint singin! no matter if u suck at it or not still gotta be on that island state o mind xD

  • brilliant.

  • lovin your t-shirt mate

  • make a how to play video please!!! Or just give us poor beginners the chords which u´ve use! thank ya!

  • From what I can see he's playing these chords:

    Bm, E7, G (barre), and F#m

... but I could be wrong.

  • thanx! I am gonna go to try it:-) Is he using "tap tap" when he´s playing? hope u know, what I mean- the way how he´s playin to sounds like reggae, not ordinary.

  • Hey, someone told me about a better progression yesterday:

    Bm7 - G - E7 - F#m7

and in the "Holy Mt. Zion" part:

Bm - Em (barred in the 7th fret)

The guy was right, sounds way better that way.

On the other hand, I'm not sure about what 'tap tap' is... but what I usually do is play the bottom GBe strings on the upward stroke, and kinda mute the whole chord when stroking down, with some variations...

but the guy on this vid seems to have a better tecnique... but i'm not sure i get it.

  • thanx for your help, I am learning it now:-) I am just a beginner, so maybe it will be taking long time...heh

  • please make a tutorial! come on please !

  • you can see what chords he is playing go figure it out its not hard...
