And I sometimes believe that, in order to be able to even attempt the big things, you need to be able to first to the small things right. And that they did. Very well.

It's just unfortunate that while they tried whatever they could on the scene to be the best they happened to be short of only one small but crucial element - which is luck.

Nevertheless I still wish them all the best in their future business undertakings, and a happy life ahead. Take care.

I never really had a problem with them. I like some of the games they published and more importantly the manuals they print where like another American company that is THQ they put the cover art as the cover page like all good manuals should.

I would love to support these companies and I felt sad when Acclaim closed, got revived and closed again.

Well my friend mentione to play an mmo with him, then I find out OH ACCLAIM OWNS IT I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THEY STILL EXISTED, then disney bought them out and the origional company too kthe game back, then nexon bought them out and now the origional company has a gameqube logo lol

Anybody miss Acclaim?I think the best games they made were The First 4 Turok games,Alien Trilogy,Mortal Kombat II on Super Nintendo,Burnout 1 and 2,Dave Mirra Freestyle,Speed Kings,WWF Warzone (Alot people hated I thought the game was good) and The South Park game on N64.

Turok, Alien³, Alien Trilogy, Extreme-G, Forsaken, Outrun Europa, The Pagemaster, Super Star Wars, Shadow Man, Mortal Kombat are some of the games they developed. Not to mention the many others they published and distributed (Burnout, Bust-A-Move, Crazy Taxi, D, Double Dragon, Spider-Man, Tiger-Heli, Tunnel B1...). I'm sure you can find some great games in here.

Some of the games I mentioned did come out on the SNES (the Super Star Wars trilogy and Mortal Kombat for example). They did mediocre games of course (sports games...), like all companies did. Do you prefer today's situation, with a few huge companies ruling over the gaming industry?

Their shitty games back then were better than today's acceptable intestine-produced games.

Wow, Acclaim needs to change that logo. I know that same logo from back in the old gaming days on the NES, Game Boy, SNES, N64, Genesis, arcade Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, GameCube and stuff.
