  • its Very Good but dont switch so much...GOod Job Tho

  • your foot is the same as your bass hand. use the heel toe technique

  • Thats real good. What key were you in?

  • @tankhead31

    Thanks, we were in Ab

  • It was great, I felt the power of God !!!

  • I have a question can you tell me how to put chords into songs I don't understand the concept

  • I would suggest that you play your bass on the top manual versus on the bottom. When you play on the top, pull the first 4 drawbars out. Otherwise, nice job! You look like an adult. (The reason I said that is because most musicians on YouTube are teenagers or in their 20s.) How long have you been playing, by the way?

  • @marcushandy Thanks. I'm 22, been playing in church for 2 years, but have been practicing for about 5.

  • That's great! You have a nice COGIC sound, too. (I don't know if you're COGIC or not.) I'm 14 and the organist for an A.M.E. Zion church.

  • @marcushandy.... not cogic (yet), but cogic musicians are one of my main influences.

  • Same here, I always emulate the sounds of the Church of God in Christ. So what denomination are you?

  • @beamn318 ...no sir....y ou sound cogic lol...u tore it up....

  • i agree he should of used the top manual

  • Very nice, sounds like a fun church. I might suggest being a little more percussive during the gospel shout, as opposed to holding the notes out. I usually hold notes to add extra emphasis. People love to hear/really respond to an upward sweep on chorale, hit a high note and hold it, turn the tremolo on. You already got it.

  • Thanks.

  • Plz can u plz give me some advice on playing preacher chords anything u can tell me would be appreciated

  • @xTJProduction1000x

My advice would be to practice along with recordings of good musicians. What I do is carry a voice recorder with me when I go to various churches and record the services and when I get home I practice with it.

Also whatever you learn, nake sure you can do it in every key. Some preachers like to modulate, and you dont wanna be weak in some keys and strong in only the ones that you are comfortable with.

  • @xTJProduction1000x

As for specific chords, there are a ton of videos here on youtube that break down chords, and there are also many Gospel Organ DVDs such as Hear and Play and wheatworks

  • nice, are you using the BP ?

  • Thanks.

I'm not using the Bass pedals in this one.......I'm still learning the pedal technique and the coordination.

  • oh ok, i suggest you play your bass hand on the top with the bass settings(888800000), also gradually make your sound fuller with the drawbars. Just my opinion, nice chords. Shalom.

  • Thanks Travis
