this is NOT pc OR PS3 gameplay this is 360 gameplay, as is made obvious by the "B" button icon that comes up onscreen.

also, it has been announced by Dice that they are NOT porting this from console to pc. there is a separate team working solely on the PC version.

They even developed a new version of the Frostbite version for it.

Yes they are porting this from console to pc,because the engine works in the same way,they did not made a new version of frostbite just for pc,the seperate team on pc only have changed the online to 32players and dedicated servers,the UI,unlockable FPS´s with more shadows and a little better light,with real Res,that doesnt look that much better than the console version.

*sigh* The engine is ported from Xbox 360 and PS3. To make any game for the PC, you obviously need a team, that doesn't change the fact that it's a port. Now, is it a bad port? Not really, it's actually a very good port in my opinion, but the point is it's a port.

I would guess medium-high at that resolution. The minimum requirement for the game (I think) is a 7800gt and a core 2 duo @ 2ghz.

it doesn't depend only on your gfx card, u may have a nasty card (and the 9600gt is so call'd nasty), but without an extreme processor for all these awesome effects, I don't think u'll play it smoothly ;) I hope I was helpful.

Okay I agree here, but to play Crysis with all on max u need a NASA's PC, or a PC like mine :P. Anyhow u can't play Crysis normally with the hardware that mangosango mentoined up there. And this game has better graphics than COD6 for example. :)

I am playing the final version and it is much much much better optimized. I play it at high 1920x1200 on high settings, with AA and AF turned off, and HBAO turned off. However it does get a little laggy when it gets really crazy and there's a lot of action going on, so I may have to play at a lower resolution, but it's not bothering me that much right now.

DirectX is a api..with components.. like ..erm.. each new dx release is better.. so you will have better sound graphics..shaders.. physics etc..

and i recommand you to search "dx11 tessellation" here in youtube.

This game looks beyond amazing. If you're a fan of the Battlefield series, you know it's unbelievable. BF2 is STILL the most intense game / realistic game I've played. As far as MW2 goes, who cares? If you want REAL battles, play this. If you want small scale grenade spam, play MW.
