damn her shoulders took horriable.and if you get the chance to see her back. it's oh my god, I could see bones. i wish she could've been saved. a waste of a beautiful voice.
Boy, what a difference in her weight from the 1974 concerts to this concert....in only 2 years time....what a shame. She always had those big hips that made her look like she was carrying more weight than she actually was....and unfortunately it was that perception by her that eventually did her in :-(
"Close To You" was Homer and Marge Simpson's wedding song.. I can only imagine what Marge would have been thinking if she was in the audience and Karen started singing this song..
I agree. This is early 76. For some reason, the dieting started to take its toll on her voice later this year and she sounded like a little girl on stage, plus she changed her singing style. Not sure why she did that, I think it killed their career.
but her voice.. a breathe of fresh air.. so good to hear her voice..

Her performance of this song in Osaka is much better than the one in London.
The London arrangement was too "Las Vegas-y" for me.
I like how she and the band pretty much stayed true to the studio version in this performance.
Celine Dion has a great reputation for not deviating from the studio version when she performs all her songs in concert.
