I also want to get rid of all the Mario Kart and Mario Party games for the latest atrocities made in their latest installments (but that blasted little brother of mine won't let me because he's a COLLECTOR, despite the face we haven't played any of them in years!).
The only way to make DK playable is to make DK Party! It will include (almost) everyone which was playable in MP8, Mario and Yoshi as helpers (both have their own mini-games but share the same spaces) and guess who is going to be taking place of Kerog!
@SBS9067A If it's named after DK, it's probably going to have more of the Kong characters (not that I personally like the DK meister, but I'd really like to play other characters besides him and Diddy in his games. We haven't heard from most of the Kongs since Mario Super Sluggers and DK Barrel Blast. Chunky and Kiddy are practically disowned, and what happened to DKjr? As for King K., I wouldn't like him as a antagonist-too obvious. Besides, I actually respect him, unlike the Kerog.

@SBS9067A Oh gawd, no...after checking on Mario Wiki again, I noticed the box art doesn't even show DK anywhere! That could mean just like in MPDS, he doesn't even get his own space! Worse, I'll bet he got replaced by Bowser Jr. as the bonus space! Why won't my little brother let me sell all those Mario Party and Mario Kart games?! This is further injustice to the Mario series as a whole!

Mario is such a bully with his Mini-Marios! If Mario/Pauline didn't provoke him as the beginning of each game, he wouldn't have to go through such humiliation! Either that, or let that plumber get an equal share of failure! PICK SIDES is what I mean!
You know what else I hate about Nintendo dehumanizing DK? Making him the antagonist in the Mario vs. DK series without the player letting to choose their own side. Seriously, this ape is the savior of multiple islands, kingdoms, and a planet of banana aliens...he even PUNCHED THE MOON OUT OF ORBIT...and yet he keeps getting beat up by A BUNCH OF TOYS owned by a plumber who PROVOKES DK AT THE START OF THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE! Why not let DK and Mario roll reverse on "+" levels, HUH?
@mrbenio Oddly enough Mario vs. Donkey Kong was practicaly my first Mario game and I've beaten all the levels with stars and have some pretty high level scores for that game. At LEAST they were NICE to DK at the end of the game!

@Reckno64 I used to as well...about 14 years ago. I probably still would've liked him if I didn't have dad play a game of Mario Party at Nebraska Furniture Mart's MEGA Mart back then. He chose Mario that one time before I could, so I went with Yoshi instead. I've stuck with that dino ever since. It's so sad that Yoshi has to deal with Bowser in EACH of HIS games.
@mrbenio Oh, I know Yoshi had to deal with Baby Bowser in Yoshi's island but the boss fight really wasn't too hard in that game. I also think the first Mario party came out in 1999 which was almost 13 years ago from now and they had Video games at furniture stores at that time?

I'm okay with that. I used to have a few Spanish classes in my freashmen year at high school and college. But naturally, I've forrgotten most of what I've learned each time.

It's kinda funny and annoying at the same time when people on YouTube speak in a different langauge and you can't understand it one bit.
I've seen videos where the entire comments are in a different language and I am like "What the hell?"
