Listen to the lyrics of within destruction, it's about seeking forgiveness from god for sins; also forsaken is about god, they are a christian band and they sing about god. Even though i am an athiest and almost an antitheist i still love AILD.

Theyre a christian band, I saw Tim in cali talking about it. You can search it guys :) I think it's kinda cool how they take a more creative approach towards their writing, instead of quoting the bible word for word or using Jesus every other sentence. Not that its wrong to quote scripture and praise Christ, but Tims approach is just different. It's a step away from the typical christian metal band, which again isnt really a bad thing.

I'm in a rock band with my buddy and he is an evangelical christian and I sort of believe in a blend of eastern philosophy and christian philosophy but he writes the lyrics and a lot of our lyrics have christian slants. Also, I'm in a metal band where the vocalist said he wants to make it a christian band but our songs are rarely lyrically christian.
