im a girl and this really brought up my spirit when i saw her play the Genie..i didnt feel so crappy when i got that part today! Thanks alot! I now i really love the idea of playing the Genie Part!!

i think she is fantastic,

to point of this song is not to sound amazing.

in fact nasaly fits this character. the geunei is a comical character.

She has amazing stage presence

I appreciate your input. A mother loves it when her child makes her mark in drama and dance, which is why I proudly posted her number. I speak French fluently, and do know the proper way to pronounce Maitre d'... or Maitre de... in a nasal voice. You are incorrect: it's not spelled Matre D. Please realize that the producer of the show is responsible for artistic articulation in the lines of his or her cast members.

It is also improper to say, "She is the wrong lyrics" in English. Merci.

I used to go to school there and I was planning on seeing that play.. but I got expelled. A real bummer... looked like a good show. Larissa Zens was always into the drama/acting classes and stuff. She was pretty good at it.

I had others posted - Jasmine and Aladdin singing 'A whole new world' on the carpet - but those clips were yanked by youtube as copyright infringement. I'm glad they at least let me keep Larissa's main number! Good luck to you in your part...

i was the genie for my middle school when we did this play. xD good times, good times. unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of students in our school, so our cast was...tiny. talented, but tiny. so we had a lot of choreography to fill up the space. xD as for Larissa...good job. work on your high notes a bit more, but otherwise good job. your tempo was fine and your pronunciation was superb. =) i feel so nostalgic now (even though i only did this 2 and a half years ago). xD
