The Man Carlo Parlanti who beat and raped my sister told her he loved her! He tied her up and then cuffed himself to her that night and some nights after. He says now she is lying, but she has brain damage since that date in June 2002. Strange how he loved her so much he almost killed her? I hate it when people just look the other way and say things like "oh just another domestic row" or "Don't get involved". It's up to others to help out those beaten or verbally abused women OR men (it happens more than people think).
