Don't understand me wrong, but I think that if Hillel didn't didn't die, RHCP wouldn't be what they are today.. I think his death forced them (Anthony and Flea) to grow up and start being more serious.. When Hillel died, Anthony realised he must stop using Heroin and maybe if that didn't happen, maybe he would still be on drugs.. Again, that is MY opinion, please don't understand me wrong.. RIP Hillel :(
about what under the bridge meaning, its talking about
A-anthony kiedis's heroine/speedball addiction
B-when he went sober, he felt kind of away from the rest of the band, and that he had a relationship with his city [la]
C-it says"I don't ever wanna feel, like i did that day"well that day,was when hilliel slovak overdosed on heroine
hillel was an amazing guitarist but i really belive that the chili peppers wouldn't be where they are without john and chad, and anthony and johns soberness.
john and hillel are both very good. I could not pick a better one.
However i think 90s Peppers are much better then 80s because I think Chads a better drummer then Jack. And Flea and especially Anthony grew so much as musicans
scar tissue is a great book its so amazing it has changed my life I never knew hillel but i feel like he was a brother to anyone and everyone who met him he was an amazing guy...R.I.P Hillel Slovak
yeah man, you take critiscism well, i was kinda harsh haha. the song My Lovely Man is about Hillel, so it would work well. It's not really a sad sounding song though.
great slideshow, but is it good to have it set to a song written entirely by Anthony and John Frusciante? Do you know what this song is about? I'm sure you just picked it because it sounds sad, it's about a girl who left Anthony.
Sorry he was shooting speedballs. Speedball=heroin + cocaine.
So a song about drug addiction has nothing to do with a good friend who died of an overdose?
I couldn't interpret the "walk through the hills" part of the song as a vague reference to where Hillel is buried? And how maybe he understands why Hillel ODed? Dieing is a lot easier than sobering up.
You obviously know nothing about what he is talking about.
YOU was the greatest guitarist in the world....
YOU are the greatest guitarist in the world....
And YOU will be the greatest guitarist in the world......
We never forget you!!!!!! We love YOU forever!!!!!
