Because what I thought SC's concept is, is the diversity in gameplay from the three races, which are still there. three races are still cimpletely different and even more so in SC2, balancing is going to be hard, but that's what I love about SC and they kept true to that aspect.

I was there and played it. The graphics as all those people said, are nicely done, though nothing spectacular by current standards. The gameplay is almost exactly the same as the original, which some people really liked, but I was expecting a revolutionary change, eg. Warcraft III's hero system was really really different from Starcraft. I was hoping for Starcraft II to have something new and amazing in terms of gameplay.

Playing GoW has gives you no right to really call someone an Xbox pussy you moron. Secondly, I will agree that he is comparing two different genres which is absolutely pointless. Graphics are not the main focus of games it's just a popularity contest. It's more of the feel of the RTS. I think Supreme Commander will out do Starcraft 2 but it's really hard to say with the already large crowd that Blizzard has. We'll see though.

yes. well graphics is an important thing in today's games. but i've always considered the actual gameplay beeing as important as the graphics are. like.. i've seen over a duzin games wich were only good beacause of the graphics, while the gameplay lacked alot. games like CNC3. lmfao. i hope they really revamp it with the expansion... cuz quite frankly... in gameplay terms i kinda liked the old Tiberian Sun better.
