now that Zodiac has got a damn side more character than the modern incarnation know as the Ford Mondeo, the Granada replaced the zodiac, which was replaced by the Scorpio, which was then replaced by the Mk3 Mondeo. thats wat i figured and it seems to work. pls correct me if im wrong.
I agree, Most of the older cars had a lot more character,...i owned a 1961 MKII Ford Consul De-luxe (lowline), and it was probably the most beautiful car i have ever seen (my opinion obviously) She was Lemon/white, with grey/white leather interior.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!,..modern cars just wouldn't hold a candle, no matter how fast they are.
thats the same reason i own an old 1987 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16. this is a limited edition cosworth engined car and just is a beautiful car, it just seems to have a soul. i look at new Merc's and any modern car and they are so sterile and just don't seem to have any love about them.
Nice video, but i must saym the car most definately is a Zodiac,...and in addition to that, i personally think the MKII zodiac was one of the nicest cars ever produced, i never really liked the III and IV.
I'm almost sure it's a zodiac MK IV....The forerunner to the (Granada?)...it was a BIG car, 6 cylinder engine, square in shape, and 4 headlights (the Zephyr had two)...mind you, i do stand to be corrected, but i definately don't think it's a cortina.
Not to forget the Zephyr and the Consul which were also released at the same time. There is an early 60s Ford advert somewhere on YouTube with the Consul/Zephyr and Zodiac models.
the car that was featured in this advert should have gone to a classic
tv and movie vehicle museum because the tango zodiac car is an iconic
piece of the television industrie .

That's so true Canashea, I actually owned a 1961 Consul deluxe MKII, she was gorgeous.
I will have to look for the Ford advert on here, i'd love to see that.
Thanks again.

Yep. Zodiac. Quad headlamps and strips across the back. My dad still has his!

Thank goodness they resorted to random comedy violence. All the same, nice to see the Zephyr!
