Donc je pense que la chanson parle d'un ouvrier loin de sa chérie car il travaille sur le chantier, je suppose éloigné des villes....

Il me semble que cette chanson fut créée en hommahe aux travailleurs qui construisirent l'un des barrages "La Manic". Georges Dor restitua intelligemment l'ambiance de ces travailleurs isolés, son interprétation en est un parfait reflet.

Par contre l'interprétation de Bruno Pelletier ou d'Adamo sont très mauvaises et manquent clairement l'état d'esprit de la dureté du travail de construction de ces barrages.

Vive Georges Dor. Que les autres se taisent!

Ton pere est un grand talent d'ecriture. Les tounes, peu importe l'age, a tous les jours font leurs premiers inpacts. J'ai 37 et je suis en Ontario depuis l'age de 18. Au Quebec, j'ecoutais du HM comme les autres adolescents. Maintenant j'ai des horizons plus elargies. J'ai passe le long de la Manic en voyage et j'ai pense a cette chanson de voila longtemps. J'ai connu une personne unique qui vit a Manic. Si quelqu'un devrait chanter cette toune aujourd'hui, je voudrais que se soit elle.
