  • třista slov pro sníh? no to je úžasný!

  • To save the Sami language, what they need to take in considerations is that it is divided up into 7 different dialects. "Tierva" is "Greetings" in the Inari dialect. "Tiirrv" is "Greetings" in the Kildin dialect. "Buorre biejvve" is "Greetings" in the Lule dialect. "Buorre beaivi" is "Greetings" in North dialect. "Tiorv" is "Greetings" in the Skolt dialect. "Buerie biejjie" is "Greetings" in the South dialect. "Tiirn yalak" is "Greetings" in the Ter dialect.

  • it sounds like finnish but with a swedish accent

  • Actually, when Finnic tribes drove the Sami up to the Arctic Circle, they took on their language. It believed the Sami are related to the Basques, who were driven to the Pyrenees Mountains by Indo-European tribes. So technically, there are not a Finno-Ugric people, but their language is. Basically, they speak an ancient form of Finnish. But irrespective, they must preserve their language, and its numerous dialects. King Harald V of Norway apologized for the forced Norwegianization.

  • My Grandmother had a Traditional Sami Dress she had as a Young Girl when she lived there. So i figured she must have been of the Sami people too.

The Woman must have a lot of Spunk there for her to come to the United Stated all by herself in her teens on knowing anyone here around 1910

My Grandfather came a few years later when she went back to Norway and brought him back with her 1915.

    He was a Wailer.

Makes me proud to have a History of these people.

  • I love the Sami People.

The land where my Grandparents came from Kirkenes Norway.

  • going to see them!

  • sami are japanese

  • @elperretebueno

Keep your asinine thoughts to yourself!

  • @elperretebueno No they're not, they're obviously African.

  • @elperretebueno Yeah, Most of Finns and Sami people seem like blonde Japanese. :)

  • @tatatakat yeah, and the blonde element is because of later Swedish influence. Regarding Finnish language, it's incredible that Japanese mark questions with a "-ka" suffix and Finns do it with a "-ko" one. It amazed me when I saw it. And no one mention that kind of things ever.

  • @elperretebueno The languages are not related, so there is no real reason to mention any imagined similarities between them.

  • @Oppetsismiimsitsitc

Actually the Finns, Sami and Japanese people all have some shared DNA, though in case of the Japanese, in quite low frequency. Only about 1.4% according to the 'pedia.

Also when race-theory was being thrown around Europe, the Finns and Sami were considered racially more Asian than 'proper' Europeans. Quite funny since modern genetic studies reveal that Finns are most "European." That is having the genetic markers unique to Europeans in higher frequency.

  • @DataEntity "Actually the Finns, Sami and Japanese people all have some shared DNA."

As if we all evolved seperately ^^

  • @dinnj

Meaning DNA markers unique in comparison to other populations. Beyond the baseline shared by all humans. Not something you couldn't figure out from the context.

  • Wow! The clothing is so similar to the Hmong traditional clothings too!

  • I LOVE HOW SAMI PEOPLE ARE PROUD OF THE CULTURE AND ANCESTRY...UNLIKE THE SWEDISH PEOPLE AND THEIR OBSESSION WITH ENGLISH-AMERICAN CULTURE AND LANGUAGE

  • @tome212121

    Medhålles!

  • Comment removed

  • @tome212121

You have no idea about English culture obviously. The true English are a Germanic people and proud of their culture but it is pretty similar to the Nordic cultures.

    Not American...

  • @HarryBodensson i didn´t mean to say that english and american cultures are the same. I obviously know they are different. what i tried to say is most swedes tend to praise any form of culture, like art, coming from the "english speaking world" as if it were better than their own. I clearly know that nowadays this tends to happen pretty much everywhere in the world, but i´ve been shocked to find out how much particularly sweden has become so "americanized" this past decade.

  • @tome212121

Are you Swedish? It's up to the next generation to promote and sustain their culture. Having said that it seems to be down to fashions and fads.

    Good luck

  • thank you, be strong!

  • it is terrible, that it has happened Things in your country .. But none of us are alone ... Do you mean with the Mongols on the Prague spring or earlier century.... We have quite a nice talk on the history of our parts, your and my nation...

  • Of course Sweden gorging on your country, the king could not afford to pay all his soldiers as he let his soldiers plunder towns, such as salary .. They wanted to change Christianity ... King wanted power ... If Sweden had won all the wars, your language would be pretty very close to Swedish and I think you would have understood each other ..

  • @Najdchef88 I don't think so. There was another strong player-Germans! Germans got everywhere they wanted. Czech Přemyslid kings invited them to Sudetia (a part of Bohemia past German borders) to work there. Later, they got to cities and even to city halls and so on. And it happened, when Habsburgs got Czech thone and heritage, Germans got open way to influence. Austrian=German. Generally, they didn't have anything against us. They permited us to use Czech, they had to! But later, it changed.

  • In our country areas are quite a number of different rock types, such as iron ore, which is quite expensive .. They forced most people to move. so that mine could be bigger and draw more money, which we do not get a penny ... There is evidence of our largest city, Kiruna, must be moved because the mine has become larger, and can cause racial risks .. The whole town must be moved 3-4 km to the north ... It hurts.....what would you do if they suddenly do a mine of your town or large city?

  • @Najdchef88 It's something similar in the North of Bohemia! There are coal mines and during communistic era (the worst Czech have ever experienced) many villages were destroyed. And not just due to this, many villages were flooded by water reservoirs. But the people got new housing. Now, there's a village called Horní Jiřetín that is on the sources of coal. But fortunately, government solved that and people were respected, athough the company was disappointed. So this affair is solved!

  • How did they get Č, Š and Ž? These letters first appeard in Czech language in 15th century and they were created just there and later they got to Slovakian, Croatian, Slovenian and even to Lithuanian and Latvian. But how did they get to Sami if it's been a "Czech invention" what's well proved and the Czech lands are so far away? Do you have a theory?

  • @radikborov The Sami are different all do not write the same letters. Where I come from. we have double ii and double KK. It depends on what your name is, where you come from,, in Sápmi. and were your ancestors comes from...

  • @Najdchef88 Are you Sámi? I hope so.

But double I or K and other double letters aren't anything special. Such Finnish has many words like that and Czech, too (měkký, nejjednodušší, jakkoli) and in declesion (nom.-euforie, dat.-euforii) But not each language has special letters to express each voice. English uses "sh", German "sch", French "ch", Polish "sz" but Czech or such Slovak use Š for that and this and teh rest of these letters were created in Bohemia.

  • @radikborov I mean, that all Sami have not the same letters like you have in Czech Republic. as I said it depends on where you come from in Sápmi .. There are other weirds, special letters .. I can not print from computer .. Where I come from, we have 10 more letters than the usual Swedish or Finnish has ...

  • @Najdchef88 It means there's no official version of the Sami, doesn't it. Each region has own dialect.

But is there a Russian influence? Now I mean azbuka and its letters.

  • @radikborov all regions are different ... some have self-government, writing style, dialect, history ... and there is no Russian influence, we are enemies you can say so .... countries that are very close, are Norway and Finland ... but all regions are related together, but each has its own ways in Sápmi we all respect our own ways .. We love our country also, even if it is not a country .. and yes i am Sámi..

  • @Najdchef88 I don't wonder you hate Russians! They're the rudest men ever. Most of them are the disgrace of Slavs. We've got similar language and ethnicity, but we can't stand them. What did they do to your nation?

  • @radikborov well they have done the same things as Sweden. Looted our country. Digging up our ancestors, took their gold, jewelry, decoration, body´s and even residences ... tossed radioactivities in our natural surroundings .. or made huge mining industry ... It's just a question when we become Independent ... I do not hate people, but the government who do not care all that we say and wish for...

  • @Najdchef88 You definitely see it in a different way, but I think, however Sweds were terrible, they cannot be compared with Russes who can be quite vicious and they do it glad. Believe me, we have own experience with them, too. Russian comes, takes your property, puts to the prison and says he's the only human who has rights for that. I think Sweds aren't the same. Well, during the 30 yrs war they stole some valuable things from Poland and Bohemia, but Russians killed whole villages. Like that!

  • @Najdchef88 Now, I'll be more interested in your affairs and thank you for the topic for our Czech stylistic lesson where we should write an essay about an intenational problem. I think it's an interesting and serious topic that should be mentioned and I'll be pleased if you told me more.

  • @radikborov haha thank you, I can tell lots of things about Sápmi. Norway and Finland are the most countries, giving respect and love for us, we have more rights in the two countries. but my land is in Sweden and has been in 500 years, as we usually say occupied . Before Sweden came, there were kings, and other things.. But when Russia, Sweden and Denmark came. they raced who can take the Northern Europe first and quickly. And we say, and so do we today,, We were here first and you're last,,

  • @Najdchef88 So, Swedes - I found some more information about 30 yrs war (which youe weren't involved in) and I found the Swedish army was the worst one. If they damaged our cities and stole treasures, what could they do to your nation? I don' rather guess.

  • @radikborov you will not have to guess.. I can say that there is something called the Sami Parliament. Court fights more fair for the Sami. The Sami Parliament is type a collection where all Sami together and talk and discussed. Their job is to help the Sami people to preserve or as we call in the village, Oiikunuka (SDR) Sami's Democratic Rights, translated. but they do not only supports Sami, they support other ethnic groups, as ex Navajo Indians. they have embassies around the world, to help

  • @Najdchef88 Although you don't have a republic or kingdom, you have a Parliament and government and if I understand well you also have embassies in some states, but they don't care about you.

Honestly I don't wonder! If they're financially supported why would they do anything, just think about that. It's the same anywhere. Well, which states do officially support your nation? I think you're supposed to be a nation, not an ethnic group. Maybe I'll visit an exhibition of Sámi culture in Prague.

  • @radikborov They support pretty much to their government consists of the Sami and many are followers of the North Sami do finland also their nationalist leader is Sami he controls 60% of northern Finland. shared added, we have approximately 119 embassies. countries do not care, just ethnic groups, they may own economic Provider ... but I do not care what the Sami Parliament are doing, for they keep to themselves and my people will not really agree with them .. My people behave independent.

  • @radikborov we have our own flag, we have our own government which 77män o women including young controls, and so we have our own army they are only 275 men, then is king, Sirko Saiiva Sami XVI, who has given Democracy, Public Freedom, ownership rights, freedom of speech. We have also become a symbol of Swedish Finnish and Norwegian .. For you have the right to choose how to live ... You can check in Prague how much they mention about the Sami people and what they tell. You can check in Prague.

  • @radikborov how much they mention about the Sami people and what they tell me ... I'll go sometime this week to Stockholm army museum and look around what they mention about the Czech Republic ... What they mention about your nation ??

  • @Najdchef88 If you mean Sweds so it's maybe hard to say. Once in history, we had a problem with them. As I said, it was the 30 yrs war when they went through Bohemia and Habsburgs gave Czech lands as a victim. They stole everything they could. Cities, monasteries etc. were damaged. Their king even wanted to steal St. Venceslaus Crown which is main coronation jewel and it's the richest in the world, but Czech noblemen protected it. Nowdays our relationship are really good.

  • @radikborov There is also a movie, what Sweden did to Sami,,, the movie is called the Kautokeino rebellion, and is a true story.. No one will never forget what Sweden Russia Germany has done to us ... The same as Sweden did to you 30 years of war,,, Germany WWII, and Russia during the Prague Spring!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Najdchef88 Yeah, Germans are another "great" people. You don't have to tell me anything, we've been neighbours for more than 1200 years! And I live in Western Bohemia, they're close to us. Our relationships are very difficult to understand and for a long, but interesting explanation! And Soviets? Never more! The people who occuppied us weren't only Russians. My grandparents told me they saw mainly Tatarians and even Mongols.

I'll check the film, I must find more!

  • @radikborov There is much to tell about Sapmi .. For example, Kings, Chiefs, People, Religion, Enemies, Tribes, Animals, Music, Dance, Costumes, everything is a circle of life ... I like a lot´s of people with different culture .. but not on those who harm the people, as I always say .. we are all one together,, I like that you think it is interesting, not all do.. Big smile :)

  • all these americans who say its so good yet they are either monolingual or only want to learn big languages because of number of speakers not because the culture is the best

  • I also think that we should show what Sami is. We Sami is struggling to keep our culture. But there are enemies who want us out, so they can take our country. there are many Sami patriots who are fighting for their freedom. There are also Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Russians, Americans, Chinese, French and other nationalities who support our right o freedom. But the big question is who should lead. There are kings and chiefs in Sápmi but nobody has the stomach to control ..

  • I'm Finnish, and I believe we should aspire to do more, a lot more in fact, to try to preserve the culture and language of ethnic minorities like the Sami and the Karelians. I'll admit it's mostly because they are both related to Finns and both the Sami and Karelian languages are related to Finnish, plus sort of "endangered", but they should nevertheless be appreciated a lot more than they are at the present moment.

  • we have many words for snow and ice. But it's so rare for us to say any words for snow and ice. we say the simple words, so that young children learn the basics. Later comes the difficult words such as. Uiila, diikic. I can most of all words. But it depends where you come from also. I hope i answered your question :)

  • I'm Sami and comes from North Sápmi. My ancestors have ruled a area in 2500 years even today. our dialect has almost disappeared. many of my relatives or neighbors have fled or been ignored in the language. I speak our dialect perfectly, but many do not talk anymore so much as I do. I love the language and country. It's the only place where I can have free will and listen to nature. (if you're wondering my accent so it is mixt by the Finnish language and Mongolian. if you have questions ask me.

  • @Najdchef88 Are there really ~300 words to describe ice and snow? I've heard that the Inuit language has a lot of words for ice and snow, which was later disproved.

  • i don't know if sami is a national language in sweden and scandinavia !! if not the sami must impose their culture and language like the basques have done in spain ;finno ugiric languages are the first language of europe but the indo european "colonization" have anhiliated this great civilisation .

  • @ECCETHOR - Thanks my friend, this is fascinating... I think our young friend Serginho is learning it in the Swedish school system. I have sent him this video

  • Samer er ikke noe mer urfolk enn jeg(vanlig normann).Legg ned hele sametinget.Hvorfor skal de ha fordeler som ikke andre har?Samegreiene er bare noe bløff.

  • I speak northern sami a little :)

I think sami is beautiful language. I'm happy that I can go to Lapland when I need a chance

  • @BollyWoodia thew sami are like blond and blue eyed asians. They tend to have asian features but...i mean, this is interesting

  • Comment removed

  • how many speakers?

  • @radurambo depends on which Saami language you are looking at. Northern Saami has as many as 25,000 speakers, while Ter Saami (spoken in Russia) only has 2 native (and elderly) speakers. Ter Saami will effectively be a dead language in less than a decade.

  • @thecommonking Any dead language means a dead civilization. I am sorry that the language of my ancestors (dacians) has dissapeared...

  • Where did Sámi take Č and Š? These letters were created in 15th century in Czech language, which has nothing in common with a ugro-finnish language.

I believe it's still Czech invetion which got just to another Slavic languages which use latin characters.

    So, does anyone know?

  • Does these sami people speak any scandianvian/finnish or Russian language since they live in these countries?

  • @VladimirovichViktor

Yes, at least in Finland they speak also Finnish.

  • @VladimirovichViktor the Norwegian Sami people also speak Norwegian, but that is from the time they where converted to Christianity. During the viking age and early we could understand them,

  • What i want to ask you is have there been any 'tragedy' in Saami people's history?? i heard things like; Saami people have been massacred, discriminated and castrated in Sweden and Norway from 1920 to 1980. Nobody talks much about this. Is that true??

  • It pains me to remember the Norwegian society forced Sami children to learn Norwegian and outlawed the Sami language in schools in times past.

I seriously hope the Sami will flourish and prosper just as they did before.

  • cool :) I'm doing a school report on the Sami people.

  • Fascinating. So much space up there in northern areas all across the globe yet these domineering nation-states claim to own every bit of it.

Not only are natives overrun but then settlers can't even homestead anymore in places like Alaska where the federal gov't claims to own like 3/4 of the state.

The ideals of liberty and independence have been swallowed up the absurdities of nationalism.

Isn't it ridiculous to have so much land area controlled by distant foreign gov'ts?

  • Nice and interesting nation. I love Gákti clothes. Where can I buy saami national costume? Is there any website?

  • my theory is that the sami descended from the nenets.

  • Comment removed

  • @VinVina84 - Well, I have heard a sami woman say:it's okay with pedophiles, because it's "part of the sami culture". Yeah, that happens everywhere....

  • @VinVina84 - Well, the samis got alot of money from Norway..They where supposed to use the money to preserve the sami language....They used it on alcohol and whores.

  • Sami people are not asians! They are Europeans and were there before Indoeuropeans. For example Finns and Saami people are often claimed to be from Asia because they are Finno-Ugric but they are actully descendant of first people in Europe.

  • I'm so glad to see this here. I'm not Sami (to my knowledge) but it saddens me to see indigenous cultures wiped out by the mainstream. I hope these languages will be revived.

  • ohw yeah ! and don't forget they even speak english very good !!

Can't say that about the emigrants that stay in my country....

  • good

  • I know sami :)

  • Sami is like the indian

they where first in scandinavia i heard before the vikings came

  • @BosmerHeroes - The samis where not first. It's like the sami god, Horagallis, it's fucking bullshit.

  • @BosmerHeroes In fact they are indians.

Samis are a mix of siberians(that share blood ties with the N.American indians and still some cultural traits) pre historic N Iberians that migrated north after the last Ice age,and nordics, probably non indo european nordics from the Kongermose culture of the early neholitic, and Funnelbreaker culture of the late neholitic.

    Incredible history.

  • @StellandBlood wrong. You need to read the wikipedia-article on "Population genetics of the Sami".

  • @Forkboy193

From Wikipedia, it stated that the Y-chromosome hapologroup actually came from Siberia. So I am guessing the paternal side of the Sami's is of Asiatic origins.

  • @lexxypexxy yes, that is right

  • @BosmerHeroes The vikings didn't "come" to Scandinavia, their descendants had already lived there for thousands of years. But yes, the Sami were first.

  • @BosmerHeroes vikings didnt arrive. vikings where seafarers. you mean before the GERMANIC TRIBES arrived.

  • @BosmerHeroes Not really, they are the first to reach northern scandinavia, but the ancestors of modern swedes and norweigans were first in the south, but they are not recognised as an indigenous people!

  • @BosmerHeroes ehh no, the ppl in the south came 14000 years ago, the sami first 8000 years ago. But looking at your comment makes me wonder where the "Vikings" then supposedly came from.....

  • How wonderful to see that the Saami are holding on to their language! There is no such thing as a superior culture or language and it's a terrible thing when those in charge can't recognize this simple fact.

Thank you for the post :)

  • @annabodhi38 the professor have said the truth there is racism against sami and finno ugiric !! i think we are amazed by such resistance of these people since thousands of years against "indo eurpean" diktat .

  • @kaiserarab He sandnigger, what country are you originally from? I mean the country of your parents, not France..

  • @shnoepie1 as an arab white patriot i hope that estonia will be not effected by "sandnigger berber syndrom"

like was many arab countries. since the great arabs have been infected by "sandnigger " and by "berbers" they have been degenerated.

  • @annabodhi38 Doesn't take a genius to know it's dyting out, though.

  • hate the narrators voice. her intonation sounds so arrogant towards what she is talking about,

  • I don't think she means it to sound like that. She's a native North Sami speaker and like Finnish, North Sami is also very monotonous and all the nuances and intonations are expressed with word order and grammatical patterns (same in Karelian, Finnish, Estonian...), so intonation isn't even nearly as normal as in Indo-European languages (English, French, Russian, German...)

  • If the Sammi's ancestors were not indo european then were they asian?

  • They did ..and so did the indo europeans ..actually every white peoples came from asia because they can't swim to europe from africa xD

  • Thanks for replying i always wonderd that like if ancient indo europeans actually went straight from africa to europe swimming over the meditaranean or did they just go through egypt into arabia. u know?

  • I saw from some document some weeks ago that peoples who left from Africa went first to (todays) Saudi-Arabia over the sea. Sea level was lower everywhere at that time because of the ice age and Egypt probably had more deserts. Btw of course Indo-Europeans, Asians and all were the same peoples at that time and they still had brown skin so they weren't Indo-Europeans yet

  • Are Sami European or white or Asian?

  • 123456789... the sami are asian, its dilouted.

  • white/european with east-asian descent

  • true they came from the middle east which is asia, it would have been possible for them to take boats, thats how people got to islands in the pacific, in fact there is a group of water travelling nomads, that can quickly build boats without fancy tools in a few hours, the boats evn have sails, people are plenty capable of crossing oceans.

  • interesting, sami people should get their own country :)

  • I agree. Finland should give them little part from Lapland because Saamis were in Lapland before finnish. Well Finnish and saamis were the same group of people hundreds or thousands of years ago and now saamis are coming to finnish peoples ..some finnish in north finland probably were saamis because they look kinda little different than finnish in south

  • not only finland, i think norway, sweden and russia should give a little, the samis deserve it. the thing though is that it seems the sami people have always been a very peaceful group of people, that's why i don't think they ever fought to keep their land, they just kinda let other nordic countries take over.

  • btw in 1600 or something swedish got norway, finland, saami, part of russia, part of denmark and estonia. Russia wanted to tease sweden so they would attack in britain with french so russians took finland about at year 1800 because sweden didn't attack french and finland got liberty from russia in 1917. Norway got liberty from sweden after 1900 but saami haven't never ever got liberty from any country and well maybe the reason is that they are so peacefull like you just said

  • Some saamis killed norwegian trader and cop because they wanted their payment from some alcohol O_o and it lead to some rebellion or something against norwegians and their culture. There's some movie about it

  • oh snap didnt know that, do you know if there are sami organizations fighting for land?

  • I don't know. Well at least in finland they probably live well so they don't need to fight. They came from the same group of people like finnish so probably that's why many of them speak modern finnish today :l and live in apartment buildings so some of them kinda are finnish. I guess when sámi people speaks finnish but not sámi he/she is then probably 99% finnish if he have finnish nationality. btw in Finnish Finland is "Suomi" so both lands almost have the same name :D

  • oh, please, it was just the same thing with the faroe islands, and look at us, we've still got our language.

  • you still have your own country, and every one of you learn faroese in school. the Sámi people lives in norway, and learning sami depends on the cominity around them : /

  • off topic, but.. not only in norway, in finland and sweden as well

  • oooh D: didn't know that :/

  • I want to learn a song in sami :b

    can you recomand one?

  • sparrow of the wind by vajas

  • thanks! :b

  • :D .

  • I want to learn Northern Sami..I live in America, and nobody has heard of it...Rosetta Stone doesn't have a program for it...I was wondering if someone could teach me..please..

  • If you can read German, Kauderwelsch has published a book on Sami.

"Kauderwelsch: Samisch für Lappland Wort für Wort" by Bettina Dauch

  • Great Video and very interesting! Power to the Sami people!:O)))

  • Dát leai hávski, muhto in jahke ahte sámegielas lea golmmatčuođi sánni jieŋas ja muođas. Bohccuin, muhto ii jieŋas!

  • lapoński to jeden z najpiękniejszych jezyków świata.Lapończycy to jedn z największych sekretów na świecie.

  • The cute little girl speaks Norwegian Sami. Finnish sami sounds a bit different =)

  • Sami people, can you understand Finnish? =)

  • No, most of us don't understand finnish. In theory it's close to Sami language, but for me, and most other samis it's very different.

  • Its Wimme Saari music. I have always wondered why he moved away from his native Lapland. Thanks

  • POWER TO ALL THE SAMI PEOPLE!

  • ma vaffanculo te tutti gli ungheresi e tutti i rumeni di merda.

    MORITE!!!

  • Nu får fan Sverige ta tag i det hela och se till att alla samer(i Sverige) ska kunna få lära sig sitt språk.

  • This is so sad. The same thing is happening with Native American languages in the US and aboriginal languages in Australia. The only way to keep them alive is to pass them on to the younger generation and so on.

  • power to the Sami people!!

  • they look related to Bjork.

  • Saami language is almost like English. In the beginning, the child said "Mu namma lea" which means "My name is". This is the same in both north and south saami dialect. The north saami language consists of only six vocals; a, á, e, i, u, o. They are pronounced as in: father, luck, set, sit, book, hot. The sound th as in thick and thee is also used in saami language, but it is written differently.

  • Their language will vanish in about 40 years because they use more money on parties and shit, than they do on language preservation.

  • starcraft90: Why do you believe so? Have you made some observations or what?

  • I have read about it, and not only about the saami language. And, the saami language increase use of loanwords for eksample.

  • What a cute little girl :') The Sami languages are so beautiful..

  • Finns are not barbarian Turks and Finnish is a Finno-Ugric language.

  • Uralian languages (including the Finno-Ugric) are not related to Turkic languages, that's the majoritary opinion nowadays. There's not such a thing as "turanian languages".

¿the 2taliban languages"? You mean Pashto? yes, it's indoeuropean.

I wonder why people should argue and hate one another according to the language family................. this video was not intended to that.

  • There is no proof of the Turanian langauges.. there is no proof that Uralic langauges are realted with Turkic langauges or the wider Altaic(that is still debated if it is a true langauge familiy or not or what langauge families to include) So unthill the say you have proof the Turanian langauges stop writting this bullshit and stop acting like an ass hole.

    All love and respect.

And long live the acient sami culture!

  • Newai sami is teh winrar.

  • lolwut

  • are you an islam? original people my butt.

    you turkish are disgrace.

  • So cute!

  • How well you guys can undersand Finnish (I mean those people who live in Norway, Sweden or Russia)?

  • You mean how well sami understand finnish? I'm finnish and barely understand a few words with luck, so unlikely they can understand no better than we do them.

  • That's because they pronounce the words differently. I am swedish and I know a little Saami, and I have noticed that the saami numbers from 0 to 10 are virtually the same as in finish. These are the ones in saami: nolla, guokte, golbma, njielje, vihta, guhta, tjetja, gavtci, ovtci, logi.
