once the sodium complitly crytalizes cant you just make it onto a powder again and re do it over and over again?

You can. That's why it's so cool, because you can do it over and over again from the same sample.

Best to get this in a reusable format from a company like HotSnapZ com.
They're great for Science Class experiments, self encased, reusable with NO Cleanup!

cool so when u press it hard when its on ice would it break? or does it stay like that till it melts....
It would break... but the reaction is exothermic, which means it gives out thermal energy in the form of heat. It won't melt, because it's already kind of warm and it's not melting. It's like warm ice, it's cool.
