  • WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE WITH TAHITIAN AND COOK ISLAND HULA???? AND HAWAIIAN?? GEEZ

  • The Ami's give it away as Tahitian ;)

    Mahalo

  • Theres just something really sexy about a girl who can hula dance.

  • Hello, I just wanted to comment you and tell you that this happens to be my dance troop, and oh my do we all look so little here! To clearify all of the coments from others, we are dancing Tahitian. Our troop is only a intermediate group, and esspecially here because in this video the girls are 10-15. I must admit that I was extremely excited that you posted the video, all I request it that you Acknowledge the troop by including our name which is Kani Ka Pahu O Lohiau. Thanks:)

  • I thought this looked like Tahitian too, but glad it was posted. I got this as a "recommended link" because I had looked at the "Videodrome" trailer. I have no idea how those two are related but this was fun to watch!

  • @lilhulagirl816 wow you guys were really good! Great Fa'arapu!

  • this is awesome tottaly beautiful

here in united states is a slang diety version of hula dancing and its called booty shaking and hip swinging

  • sorry but this is Tahitian, please show respect and change the name

  • to put all ya questions to rest, this is not the hula this is the Tamure. :D love them both. :D

  • This isn't Hula.

    Hula is different.

    Please get your facts straight.

    Tahitian Dancing.

    And

    Hula come from different islands.

    And countries.

  • chill out, read the description.

  • i heard that to be able to hula dance you have to be double jointed or somthing

  • Not at all. (:

You can do Hula whether you are double jointed or not.

  • @temari112 haha thats not true! XD You don't have to be double jointed! haha wow i never heard that before. Thats awesome! ha You just have to take classes. And this is Tahitian dance, not hula. It is hard, but with practice you can do it. It is really the legs that do all of the work.

  • i like dis at 1:18 she wuz movin her hips hellea fast

  • they need alot more practice

    and its tahitian dancing

    or ori

hula is different but it can also be a fast dance

  • This is Tahitian!!! Hula is graceful and slow and Tahitian is hecka fast.

  • cook island and tahitian are very similar .. but either way they kick hawian "hula""'s ass

they say hula because people in america are used associating this kind of dancing with hula because its part of the US??

    where was this done anyway??

  • I heard from someone that Tahiti took Cook Island's style of dance? I don't know. But Hula and Ori are both good. It just depends on which you like better. So what you typed was obviously bias.

  • by "kicking ass" i meant was in speed

    WANBEL STAP (PEACE)

  • the last girl in the video was a preettty girl

  • the solo girl in the end should have dance more of the basics. the modern tahitian style takes away from the beauty and originality of Tahitain dancing.

  • I rekon Hawaiian dance is boring...no offense...this is tahitian or cook islands...either i have no idea...they both the same to me...kos i do both...lol!! but cook islands dances way better though lol

  • you guys are amazing but i im pretty sure its called tahetian. i knwo because i do the same type of dance

  • WOW. Whatever group this is hella wrong because they call themselves Hula dancers when they are Tahitian dancers.

  • hawaiian chearliders¡

  • this is tahitian

  • Shouldn't they be saying IAORANA?

  • it's not hawaiian!!!!! rename this to tahitian dancing!!!!

  • hola soy de tampico, y me encantaria conocer a gente que les gusta las danzas polinesias.

  • ok first of all its aloha--not oloha

  • If this is not hula what is it??

  • Tahtian and it's called Otea.

  • if it not hawaiian why are they saying oloha!!!

  • Just because it's happenning in Hawaïi.

  • amazing...yet disturbing because I don't think anyone's hips should move that fast lol....I've seen these hula dancers in Maui befeore thh's amazing.

  • YOU'RE RIGHT...THIS ISN'T HULA!

  • this is NOT hula. rename this. PLEASE.

  • My daughter and I loved this video thanks

  • this is called tamure, actually, its a dance from tahiti, and it is not a hula.

  • Thanks for posting this video because a lot of the videos on here of hula dancers a very short. The little hula girl at the end is adorable!
