Why? they are very different, they both look for ghosts BUT... they are different formats. they used different methods. one uses modern gagets the other uses historical methods... remember NO EQUIPMENT CAN DETECT GHOSTS. FACT.

@nexezgrave I have never came across anything that actally shows that GH is faking. Every debunker I have came across has no clue what they talking about (everything is done with fishing line apparently) and can't even properly debunk those happenings that had somthing strange happen. But wasn't claimed as paranormal activity.

I don't see how Yvette Fielding's "Most Haunted" was brought undone by the guys from ghost hunters. Yes I enjoy Most Haunted, but I find the seances and ouija board sessions really interesting but the dangers of demonic attacks and possession are never discussed. I guess repeating the same warning about the dangers is not tv material but I've yet to find any real evidence of faking or trickery. I think if you were going to fake the show you'd do some real Hollywood horror movie stuff not taps
taps use evp tho wich is white noise and cant pick up human voices so they cant fake it and on some of there shows u actually have spotted a few ghosts some of them are barley notisable but if u look closely u can see them ive seen about 3 since ive started watching lol ghost adventurers is 1 of the best have seen tho they use infared and stuff to pick up heat lol
most haunted makes it look like every place they go to is haunted. taps go to places to debunk a haunting and most of the time they come up with nothing. it is not possible to have EVERY place be haunted. mh is fake i will never watch it again

The last two years, GH has done some blatant faking and they are terrible at it, which is good, I guess. They aren't comfortable lying, but It's television and it's about ratings and making entertainment. So....

I've been watching MH for a few years now I actually drifted off to TAPS instead of MH. The last year or so, I can predict exactly what will happen in there next episode of MH... I swear anything they ask the spirits to do it happens. Back in the day when I watched MH it was less predictable.. it's like they have to prove something but they are only making themselves less authentic and more of a scam..Taps are true people out to find what is real and what isn't..
For someone who is claiming not to be a fake, she sure is defensive!! I think MH is totally fake and cheesy. Something to think about when it comes to "emotions", IMHO = you can't always trust them. i think Jason did start to be a little too hard on Yvette. Fair enough Most Haunted can seem over the top but it is a different method used to Ghost Hunters. I do think if Jason were asked questions in this way about his show then he would react in a more hostile way than yvette. Plus the fact Yvette has had the decency to appear on the radio show. Ghost Hunters is my favorite but i dont think Yvette is a fake at all. there have been fakers on most haunted but they have been brought to light.

Britian has yrs of war etc etc. Dont forget Indian tribes have been on US land for centuries too. So technically every house should be haunted too. Do you see a ghost or hear one everday?? Or how abut the english do you have hauntings everynight? I doubt it so I dont think MH is the best just has been on the air longer. Pretty soon people will get bored with MH and still enjoy watching GH.

I'd agree that MH don't show the spirit world that much respect, it's as if they are expecting the spirits to perform tricks for them, which bothers me a bit. The Ouija boards and table tipping remind me of entertainment-performance charlatism of the Victorian era. It's okay to have a bit of the atmosphere of the location, it's part of the attraction and makes it more interesting. But I agree with letting the evidence speak for itself, rather than focussing on reaction of crew members, etc.
from of what ive seen the guys on ghost hunters are training investigators that have been doing it a couple of times.

I know Yvette's type of woman. This is pretty typical for that archetype. They are very nice MOST of the time, but when pressed or stressed they can really go off.
Most Haunted is a great show if you think of it as a video ghost story. Some stuff might be faked, but I don't think all of it is. However, it does make the show more fun to watch than Ghost Hunters.
The scientist part of me likes Ghost Hunters and the emotional part likes Most Haunted. Both are good shows in their own ways.

I just felt this whole show had a punky vibe to it. I'm only familiar with MH through a handful of eps I've seen here on YT, and some of the criticisms are valid. But it just seems wierd for the hosts of one show to dump on their comp. To their,credit, though, Jason & Grant were very polite to Yvette. It should also be pointed out that TAPS has not been free of controversy (see the analyses of the last Halloween ep.) The table issue is valid and she should not have been so prickly about it.

Most Haunted has a really great actor playing someone who can sense ghosts. It doesn't take much for someone to raise a hand and say 'Hey, I can see ghosts'. I'm faithful to TAPS, they may not get much, but it's better then trying to pass of fake "Evidence" for ratings.

True Paranormal State does debunk but the mediums are too much. GH don't use any mediums because they use scientific evidence rather than someones opinion or hypothetical theory of what they see or feel in that situation. Grant had made a comment on mediums and why they don't use them. They deviate too much on the investigation.

No,its not scientific.They don't even do a real investigation. Running around in the dark with everything you can grab off the Radio Shack website and going "dude what was that? I dunno-therefore its paranormal or unexplainable" is just like watching children play pretend. Scientific ignorance is not proof of the paranormal and saying you're "scientific" doesn't make it so.Anomaly hunting or data dredging is what we call it in science,and its considered pseudoscience.
you can clearly see the video is fake. She says the cloth makes it slippery and appears like she is moving it. If you notice when the cloth wrinkles the table is going the same direction as her hand. If the table was moving on its own the cloth would wrinkle when the table is going the opposite direction of her hand. Point blank fake.
Look, the bottom dollar here is in the past Americans have always been melordramatic, English have been reserved, but as an englishman I am ashamed to say Most Haunted is over dramatised and Evette and Karl make a mint from running this show, hence they "make" results.
I congratulate TAPS for sticking to the facts and remaining calm and collective. Most Haunted is faked, we all know it, I'm glad they have been exposed.
Yvette had to keep pointing out that they were plumbers. Well, the plumbers have been in the field for 10 years longer than the ex-kid's tv show "Blue Peter" girl. MH's methods barely attempt to be scientific and MH needs to change if they want to move beyond just "entertaining". They aren't taken seriously. I can see why Yvette became defensive, though. But I think she might have called off and found important business to deal with before losing it on air.
Oh P.S. I can't bear to watch Most Haunted. I feel embarrassed for the cast and crew. I realize there are people that love this show, but it's like the Jerry Springer of Ghost Hunting.

TAPS may have been investigating the paranormal longer but MH were 1st to successfully air it on TV. The UK has more (app 5X more in fact) recorded history than the US.More heritage, battles, ancient buildings etc. Yet MH doesnt capture as much activity as TAPS.If MH was fake then why after 10 series have there been no full bodied apparitions? Ghost Hunter's line of questioning to Fielding was deragatory. I tried the table pushing with and without a covering and there is no fucking way a table can move by just one person pushing it on top. unless the table is rigged-Jason should try it aS Yvette asked but NO - the Mario Brother's act is in trouble now - in 2008 - Sci Fi told them to get more results or they are off the show. Why? they are very different, they both look for ghosts BUT... they are different formats. they used different methods. one uses modern gagets the other uses historical methods... remember NO EQUIPMENT CAN DETECT GHOSTS. FACT.
UNTIL YOU CAN TEST IT ON A REAL GHOST YOU CANT SAY THAT IT DETECTS THEM. Jason and Grant need to open their mind to their minds to other ways of ghost hunting, use any method possible to make contact... not debunk it.

@nexezgrave I have never came across anything that actally shows that GH is faking. Every debunker I have came across has no clue what they talking about (everything is done with fishing line apparently) and can't even properly debunk those happenings that had somthing strange happen. But wasn't claimed as paranormal activity.
The flashlight thing GH didn't even know that it was just the flashlight short circuting and causing the flashlight to turn on.

I don't see how Yvette Fielding's "Most Haunted" was brought undone by the guys from ghost hunters. Yes I enjoy Most Haunted, but I find the seances and ouija board sessions really interesting but the dangers of demonic attacks and possession are never discussed. I guess repeating the same warning about the dangers is not tv material but I've yet to find any real evidence of faking or trickery. I think if you were going to fake the show you'd do some real Hollywood horror movie stuff not taps

taps use evp tho wich is white noise and cant pick up human voices so they cant fake it and on some of there shows u actually have spotted a few ghosts some of them are barley notisable but if u look closely u can see them ive seen about 3 since ive started watching lol ghost adventurers is 1 of the best have seen tho they use infared and stuff to pick up heat lol

I've been watching MH for a few years now I actually drifted off to TAPS instead of MH. The last year or so, I can predict exactly what will happen in there next episode of MH... I swear anything they ask the spirits to do it happens. Back in the day when I watched MH it was less predictable.. it's like they have to prove something but they are only making themselves less authentic and more of a scam..Taps are true people out to find what is real and what isn't..

i think Jason did start to be a little too hard on Yvette. Fair enough Most Haunted can seem over the top but it is a different method used to Ghost Hunters. I do think if Jason were asked questions in this way about his show then he would react in a more hostile way than yvette. Plus the fact Yvette has had the decency to appear on the radio show. Ghost Hunters is my favorite but i dont think Yvette is a fake at all. there have been fakers on most haunted but they have been brought to light.

Britian has yrs of war etc etc. Dont forget Indian tribes have been on US land for centuries too. So technically every house should be haunted too. Do you see a ghost or hear one everday?? I'd agree that MH don't show the spirit world that much respect, it's as if they are expecting the spirits to perform tricks for them, which bothers me a bit. The Ouija boards and table tipping remind me of entertainment-performance charlatism of the Victorian era. It's okay to have a bit of the atmosphere of the location, it's part of the attraction and makes it more interesting. But I agree with letting the evidence speak for itself, rather than focussing on reaction of crew members, etc.

I know Yvette's type of woman. This is pretty typical for that archetype. They are very nice MOST of the time, but when pressed or stressed they can really go off.
Most Haunted is a great show if you think of it as a video ghost story. Some stuff might be faked, but I don't think all of it is. However, it does make the show more fun to watch than Ghost Hunters.
The scientist part of me likes Ghost Hunters and the emotional part likes Most Haunted. Both are good shows in their own ways.

I just felt this whole show had a punky vibe to it. I'm only familiar with MH through a handful of eps I've seen here on YT, and some of the criticisms are valid. But it just seems wierd for the hosts of one show to dump on their comp. To their,credit, though, Jason & Grant were very polite to Yvette. It should also be pointed out that TAPS has not been free of controversy (see the analyses of the last Halloween ep.) The table issue is valid and she should not have been so prickly about it.

Most Haunted has a really great actor playing someone who can sense ghosts. It doesn't take much for someone to raise a hand and say 'Hey, I can see ghosts'. I'm faithful to TAPS, they may not get much, but it's better then trying to pass of fake "Evidence" for ratings.

True Paranormal State does debunk but the mediums are too much. GH don't use any mediums because they use scientific evidence rather than someones opinion or hypothetical theory of what they see or feel in that situation. Grant had made a comment on mediums and why they don't use them. They deviate too much on the investigation.

Yvette says 'so you guys are plumbers' NOT 'so you guys are just plumbers'. Theres are difference...I'm not a fan of MH but am not sure I like TAPS now, v arrogant here...

they also talked like big men when Yevette was not on yet then when she got on they pussed out and hid behind there shows fans saying these are the fans questions. putting the blame of being rude and arrogant on there fans. Ghost Hunters always do one show to advertise a hotel and one investigation. boo

I think they were unfair on this show. I have seen the staged conversations on Ghost Hunters where they are acting as if it is not. I have seen them put out some very week stuff for the sake of making the show interesting when there was nothing. they went after Yevette with arrogance. very unprofessional.

it really looks like she's moving the table. no one else's hand is moving the cloth like she is. plus, TAPS actually tries to prove that what they see is explainable before saying "oh it's a ghost" or "oh that spec is an orb"...i like proof.

to me derick ruins mh for me. i started out watching mh a few years back and could only watch it for about a year. i was skeptical when i started watching gh because of mh but found gh to be more believable. btw i went to the st augustine lighthouse and found nothing but ghost dont always work on que.

No,its not scientific.They don't even do a real investigation. Running around in the dark with everything you can grab off the Radio Shack website and going "dude what was that? I dunno-therefore its paranormal or unexplainable" is just like watching children play pretend. Scientific ignorance is not proof of the paranormal and saying you're "scientific" doesn't make it so.Anomaly hunting or data dredging is what we call it in science,and its considered pseudoscience.

you can clearly see the video is fake. She says the cloth makes it slippery and appears like she is moving it. If you notice when the cloth wrinkles the table is going the same direction as her hand. If the table was moving on its own the cloth would wrinkle when the table is going the opposite direction of her hand. Point blank fake.

Look, the bottom dollar here is in the past Americans have always been melordramatic, English have been reserved, but as an englishman I am ashamed to say Most Haunted is over dramatised and Evette and Karl make a mint from running this show, hence they "make" results.
I congratulate TAPS for sticking to the facts and remaining calm and collective. Most Haunted is faked, we all know it, I'm glad they have been exposed.
Carry on TAPS , you keep the truth out there.

Yvette had to keep pointing out that they were plumbers. Well, the plumbers have been in the field for 10 years longer than the ex-kid's tv show "Blue Peter" girl. MH's methods barely attempt to be scientific and MH needs to change if they want to move beyond just "entertaining". They aren't taken seriously. I can see why Yvette became defensive, though. But I think she might have called off and found important business to deal with before losing it on air.

Oh P.S. I can't bear to watch Most Haunted. I feel embarrassed for the cast and crew. I realize there are people that love this show, but it's like the Jerry Springer of Ghost Hunting.

I loved this interview, it was just what I was waiting for ... I abhor Most Haunted's blatant fakery but there isn't anyway you can question their 'findings' peronally... they hide away like cowards. Grant and Jason are my heroes for asking polite sensible questions, only to be answered by an unprofessional fraud who talks out confrontations with garbage..... Ghosthunters are the winners !!!

TAPS may have been investigating the paranormal longer but MH were 1st to successfully air it on TV. The UK has more (app 5X more in fact) recorded history than the US.More heritage, battles, ancient buildings etc. Yet MH doesnt capture as much activity as TAPS.If MH was fake then why after 10 series have there been no full bodied apparitions? TAPS snipe at MH every chance they get - they say they behave like professionals? 2 onto 1 bullying and J & G giggling like schoolgirls - I DONT THINK SO!

um okay no full body apparitions you say. WELL NEITHER HAS TAPS. and also THE MOST HAUNTED TEAM STARTED ON TV! from the very beginning they were meant entertain. TAPS was chosen to be on tv be cause of there great investigation skills. besides it doesn't matter how long you`ve been on tv. what matters is you ability to bring solid evidence OR to help others with paranormal problems (PRS anyone). mh DOES NEITHER. also how is it bullying when there just relaying viewer questions?

UM OKAY The fact that Most Haunted are the original & most successful paranormal show in TV history & still going strong after 10 series,is a very important point! Ive seen every episode ever aired of both shows. Any true fan would know that Taps have in fact clocked up no less than FIVE full bodied apparitions to date. If MH are sensationalist fakers,then surely they would have gone all the way and faked more "solid evidence" like all the F.B apparitions that we have seen so far on GH?

She didnt just get asked,she had been awake all night dont forget. That wasnt a phone in it was more like an ambush. The TAPS guys should be ashamed of themselves.I wonder why they would take such pains to try to discredit MH? Could it be that they see it as a rival , or possibly even a threat to their shows popularity? MOST HAUNTED = ORIGINAL AND BEST!

Ghost Hunter's line of questioning to Fielding was deragatory. I tried the table pushing with and without a covering and there is no fucking way a table can move by just one person pushing it on top. unless the table is rigged-Jason should try it aS Yvette asked but NO - the Mario Brother's act is in trouble now - in 2008 - Sci Fi told them to get more results or they are off the show. I know I used to work on Sci Fi-it's all about ratings. Now GH usess MH techniques and they are finding ghpsts

Yvette was asked onto the show as a guest and she agree to go on and discuss the paranormal with them and they basicly insult her and call her a liar and she is expected to sit back and take that. No wonder she went off like she did.
People critisise MH but Ghost Hunters could be just as fake.

She plays the unity card, ie, magicians should stick together. TAPS is on the other side, not perfect but they try to be objective. The English bitch has a show, which entertains, nothing more - and she doesn't want an objective view of her gig. She shouldn't have called in.
