Just for the records It was a killer rock band started by a friend of mine in marlow oklahoma in the early 90's up until bout 5 years ago when they were suppossed to have got signed. I was their back up lead singer an was suppossed to be there but couldn't make it. Haven't heard from them since but they better than these guys. sorry.

Hey, Pooklette, I can point you in the right direction for this short-lived offbeat zany outfit called Bongwater. Check out "Too Much Sleep" a double album (on vinyl anyway), and it has music from every corner of their strange spectrum of music they weave, and if you want to hear something a little more commercially alluring (if Bongwater could be commercial), then check out their 1990ish release of The Power of Pussy, it's genius. They only had 4 or 5 albums total, so get em all. Cheers.

I had heard the name Bongwater used in conjunction with a lot of my favourite bands from WAAAAYYY back but until now had never actually heard them. This song has kind of knocked me sideways and I would appreciate it if a genuine any Bongwater fans could point me in the direction of their best work.

Always loved the song and really dig the video, too. The only flaw is the 1980s Taurus Station wagon that appears at 2:20. Other than that, this does a nice job recreated the 60s feel.
