I don't know. I would like to like this game, but there's so much uncertainty. This is an old trailer and the fact that it's been announced for next gen consoles doesn't inspire much faith in me. They haven't even been announced yet. BG&E is among my biggest pleasant surprises on PS2 and I would love to have a sequel. Here's hoping...

The whole "buy Rayman, and we will make G&E 2" is a bit of a sales tactic, but I bought the Rayman game anyway. Glad Rayman Origins turned out to be fun.

@TheAcidHairball Well, at least 50,000 of the people online cared about Mega Man Legends 3, including myself. I played the original, sequel and even the Misadventures of Tron Bonne. If all that is released from Capcom is "big sellers" like Street Fighter (rehashed) and Resident Evil (again), where are all the great hidden gems of video games going to come from (regardless of company). BG&E is a hidden gem, and a classic that shouldn't be forgotten, same w/ MMLegends series IMO.

It got mass praise from the media and developed a large fan base, large enough to give the HD remake some pretty decent coverage.

There will be scenes in which she will also travel in a Helicopter, but most of the game she will travel in the black car. Since Jade had an suspicious incidence the Hillian Goverment chases her, they think she is a Domz.

The story of Jades new journey will be many years after the first part. A lot of things have changed since then, including the enviroment which has more or less turned Hillys into what you can see: a desert. Pey'js infection from the domz on his hand is still bothering him, and if he doesn't react he will slowly turn a domz.

Since the Planet is dried out and there is not enough food for the population, it is Jades mission to save Hillys & Pey'j.

@The808Keoni First of, Pey'j was dead, then reanimated by Jade's power, which is Domz in origin, so it's fair to say he may have been contaminated by it partially, and if you look, he's got a bandage over his hand, he never wore anything over his hands in BG&E1. Also, since we know Pey'j had something to do with the Domz in the first place, being the leader of Iris, perhaps even the founder of Iris, it's safe to say he may be tied to the Domz as well, so you can't say for sure what it will mean.

@osey11 No, Pay'j got contaminated by the Domz, he didn't necesarily go bad, after all Double H also got contaminated, then cured, so it's possible he got cured between games, or is simply resilient to it, due to something in his past to do with the Domz. Don't forget, Domz doesn't necesarily = evil, after all, Jade is a Domz in human form, granted with memory somehow removed, but she still is a Domz.

At first, i must admit, i absolutely hated the game. Jade seemed like a slutty bitch, and Pey'j was a fyat hillbilly Alien pig. FFS. But when i first played it... Fucking wow. I love it now. Although my thoughts about the characters stay the same lol. But the game is awesome. And no annoying fangirls to ruin it. Love the atmosphere of the game, so unbelievably adaptable. The lead designer said in a press conference that the team put it on hold to work on another game, but "Putting it on hold" doesn't mean never getting back to it. So, I'm guessing that in the next year or two we'll have Beyond Good and Evil 2 ^_^

Bought it, played it, OH MY GOD.

The graphics are amazing for their time and certainly aren't failing now, the gameplay is smooth and exciting, the soundtrack is amazing, the story is awesome, I don't know how else to praise the game.

Anyone here who's seen this trailer and has not bought it, seriously, buy it, best investment you'll ever make.

Since big budget games need to make money and the first one didn't If they do make a sequel it will probably be very different from the first. Jade will sport giant tits and a machine gun instead of a camera.
