Is everyone glad Tom was chosen to represent Belgium?

I am, but for two reason's ;

1) It proves the National Broadcaster are showing more intrest in improving Belgiums chances to go into the Final by having an international selection

2) WE know he can sing from his 2nd place in X factor..

All Tom needs is a good composer, remember Andy for the UK in 2008.. He has a great voice but a lame song from the 80's destroyed his chances and got the UK their 2nd worst placing of all time.

I know him and he has show in the X-Factor he's a great singer. He can also write very good songs. He is not the typical popsinger, but if he want, he can sing that too. He makes cover version even beter then originals. I'm happy that my country Belgium (Flandres) has chosen him! It's just the start of his career, but I think he'll be a big one. He is also a very nice, modest guy. I believe he will write a nice song and do it good in Oslo! Better then Belgiums last times! Good Luck!!

Well his voice is okay, but his X factor performences were not always prefect, remember the UK tried this in 2008 and Andy came last..

Kallibee; last time we entered the competition there was 'un wallon' qui pourrait chanter, but nonetheless, he didn't sing in french, did he... So either this time, when there's a flemish guy singing, he sings in flemish or english :p that's just the way it goes :)

I loved Belgium for sending Ishtar and Patrick Ouchène. I just hope this Tom Dice guy isn't going to sing some boring Americanized urban pop song that sounds the same as everything else.

If it's a simple song like his version of "Please don't stop the music" from X Factor then it could be good, but I hope he doesn't use the typical boyband-voice he has when singing "Bleeding love".
