What's batshit about Wrath, is that his physical abilities (which include the ability to cut tanks in half) are NOT part of his Homonculi powers: his Stone has only one soul in it instead of many, allowing him to age and have children.

He just trained until he could do that shit naturally, whereas all the other Homonculi have superhuman physical bodies.

His Ultimate Eye lets him perfectly read body movements, giving him limited precognition in fights: he knows what you do just before you do it.

Full metal alchemist is basically set in Prussian Germany. Its not quite Nazi Germany. It more resembles the Prussian Empire given the weapons being used. Given how young Edward was recruited as a state alchemist and exams they had to go through. Somewhat resembled the revolutionary introduction of public education that the Prussians introduced to the world. Fuhrer Bradley is essentially Hitler on steroids.
