Something really important with this machines is to keep your feet relaxed. Its very easy to tighten up the feet and shins and take pressure off the hamstring. You should only be feeling the hamstring during this workout.

you can do the pulling down part fast as you want - the faster you do it the better training for FAST TWITCH muscles. It's the negative part you want to go slow on
