Frankie Lymon was a great artist, regardless of whatever his personal issues were, he had something called TALENT and that's why people will always remember him ,because he stood out and he will never be forgotten.

  • POOR, FRANKIE; IT'S ASHAME, THAT TIME, & GOOD PEOPLE, WEREN'T ON HIS SIDE, THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN THE POSSIBILITY THAT HE WOULD HAVE LIVED TO TELL US ALL ABOUT HIMSELF, NOT MENTION STILL EARNING FRUITS FROM HIS LABOR, AS ONE OF HISTORIES CELEBRATED BLACK MUSICIANS.. HE WAS THE BEST, BUT WAS TREATED LIKE TRASH, INSTEAD OF A HUMAN BEING....

  • @scyndicate1 Yes...He as so talented and wish that he did not suffer they way he did

    ♫♫ ʝαʑ ♫♫

  • @karmencookie he suffered i thought he died from heroin overdose?

  • @Ulquiorra3555 he indeed did

  • @scyndicate1

Hear, Hear! Who knows what could have become of Frankie Lymon and TheTeenagers? They didn't invent the all male vocal groups, but they were a cut above the rest. They were talented, and good looking. Sadly, during that era, they didn't have the proper guidance which could have set them off into the stratosphere, both financially and creatively!

  • @TheReneex HATE THROWING THE "RACE CARD" IN THIS, (AS RACE IS STILL AN ISSUES PAST & PRESENT), BUT IT SEEMED THAT BLACK MUSICIANS, WERE ALWAYS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WERE BLACK. WHITE MUSICIAN WERE BEING DONE IN, TOO: BUT NOT AS BAD AS BLACKS WERE: NO {WHITE} ATTORNEY WITHIN THE BUSINESS WOULD REPRESENT THEM, & IF THEY DID, THEY TOO, WOULD EXPLOIT THEM, FOR THERE OWN RACIST NEEDS.. THE 50'S WEREN'T GOOD FOR GOOD BLACK MUSICIANS, SEEING MANY OF THEM FAIL, DUE TO EXPLOITATION.

  • hes good

  • @had23444 what did you expect?

  • love this song.

  • awsome drummer on this track

  • I introduced Frankie's music to my niece a few weeks ago when I saw her, and guess what? She LOVES his songs now and this is her favorite!

  • I just watched the movie, and jump to internet to find this song!

  • I'm 16 years old, if any of my friends new i listened to this music.......

  • @TomTV94 ;o)))

  • @TomTV94 lol 16 huh? its knew not new

  • @TomTV94 It's good to know I'm not the only one in my age group who listens to Frankie's music. Some of my friends look at me like I'm crazy when I start playing his songs on my ipod, and I play them at full blast!

  • @MsTruthFinder101 Lmaoo some of these classic songs are as good as the music that's out today! I only ever play this music through me ears phones when i'm around mates, i'd never play it through my Beats :P

  • @TomTV94 bless your sweet little heart for having such good taste in music. Don't worry about what your friends would think. I am 34 and I am sure my friends would think the same thing!!!

  • @TomTV94 Great music is timeless. You should turn it around and think about how they look for listening to the "music" of today. Just because something is pop certainly doesn't make it good. Real musicians, real instruments, and real singers all with passion for their craft. This is what makes music great and it is a quality that has been lost today. I say you go out there and spread the word of what good music is. Maybe it'll catch on. And for those that it doesn't, it's their intellectual loss

  • @TomTV94 Same

  • @TomTV94

I hate it when teenagers feels special because they don't listen to "regular music"... If your friends are really your friends, they wouldn't care, so there's no need posting it on youtube...

  • @RobbertVanBobbert You don't make sense, hush.

  • @TomTV94 Hey I'm thirteen , and I have my own collection! You're not alone! This Music rocks!!

  • i think this version is so much beter than the other one :) i love this music , where did the love and joy of music go? Music is just bullshit now

  • @OJLuscious not all music today is bull. Plz stop generalizing modern music based on the mainstream. There are plenty artist who don't get the rep they should. Besides, not all old school music was good, bc that is not how the world works.

  • @only4u321 Ok, not all music today is bullshit and yeah i agree that there are some artist that deserve to be heard and respected! Im talking about the Rap, its retarded and makes no sense. and yes i agree NOT all old music was good, But alot of old music is way better than the new! That's just my opinion, you have yours and i have mine, why do you care anyway? lol

  • @OJLuscious lolz. I care because the bull music is just for clubbing and it will always be there. It's there because of the culture that we live in. If we can change our culture, we can change the music..But those who have the talent to make music change culture should be supported to no end. To some degree, all artist have talents, as a ppl, we need to help artist exploit those hidden talents the right way.

It's not that music has to be saved, it's just that mainstream needs to slow down.

  • Thank you for putting these songs up, I tried to buy the soundtrack from the movie why do Fools Fall in Love, but they only have the score. This is my favorite. RIP Frank Joseph Lymon, gone but not forgotten!

  • @angie210ful My pleasure!

  • Frankie is the most underated singer of all time, He is responsible for the Jackson 5 with out him they would not exsist, He's a legend, RIP Frankie thankyou for the great music

  • @1979mattant You're so right about that! You have no idea how much it upsets me to hear how much talent this kid had and the record labels just rich-rolled him and black-balled him when his voice changed.

  • love this song so much! R.I.P. Frankie
