As a Red Sox fan, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the old stadium. It's so depressing to watch games on TV at the new one... First 20 rows of giant Lazy-Boy seats, people on the Blackberries, half those seats EMPTY - even during the playoffs? WTF??? I miss the dank of the old place.

@mcadarette Holy Shit Im not the only person who noticed that, I'm a Yankees fan and I absolutly fucking hate the new stadium with lazy boy chairs and more suits and restuarants and a big ass lower deck. Its more exspensive to buy the better seat so only rich fake yankees fan snobs go to the game who dont really care about the yankees they just wanna be seen at the new place and no big upper deck so its not as loud or intimidating and makes balls fly out easier and I gotta hear shit about it

I don't think the true fans go to the new stadium because of what I said in my other comment, its just not the same and never will be, I would rather the Yankees play a season or 2 in Shea while they at least renovate the old stadium than tear down the old stadium build this new shit hole they call new Yankee stadium, FUCK I HATE IT!!! I went through the same thing when Tiger Stadium was torn down last year, Yankee Stadium, Tiger Stadium, Fenway and Wrigley were the last old ballparks, now only two are still up. It is sad to see all that history just torn down like that, but i do give the Yankees credit for making the new Yankee Stadium a lot like the old, here in Detroit the new Comerica Park is nothing like old Tiger Stadium which is why even ten years later its still not fully embraced by the fans here.

@mustanggt12382 I saw Cecil Fielder play his last game as a Tiger back in '96. Losing both Tiger Stadium and the great Ernie Harwell is a very sad 1-2 puch for the Tiger faithful. I'll bet that half the money it cost to build Comerica Park could have been used to save Tiger Stadium.
