Incredibly, while we know how bad is the economy in the United States and some European countries, most Latin American economies which are not just selling commodities are doing fantastically well. If you are not sure about this, you just have to read the official economic reports of the IMF and the World Bank. It is truly amazing and good for those many Latin countries. Most of the new investments are going to and fro that active and lively part of the world. Increase our businesses there.

I beg to differ with your assumption that the US will ride into the tribulation as the wealthiest country in the world. It is Germany that is currently holding the EU together. They are more apt to be the financier of the world to come (the rise of the Fourth Reich). Just as Hitler rose to power, Europeans will be seeking a strong, charismatic leader to follow. I would look for the beast to rise to power from inside Germany. Watch who steps in after PM Merkel.

@5starsteve1 Debt means very little in this world of continuous debt. Even though they were downgraded from AAA+ rating earlier this year (I just read a report regarding this very subject), they still enjoy the lowest borrowing rates worldwide. Countries are standing in line to loan them money. They are the safest risk today. That will continue on into the tribulation period. Debt means very little if everyone else is much worse off. Who else has been a rich harlot unto God?

@5starsteve1 you must remember, God refers to very few in the Bible as a harlot. It almost allows occurs in scripture as a relationship between God and a nation (Israel). The only other nation today who has been built upon the principles of God is the US. Ask yourself this question, what nation today fits that description? Thanks for your input. You aren't the only one who questions this.
